Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy has officially left Virtus.pro and become a free agent. For the player, this marks the end of a one-year period in the organization that never became a successful stage either for him personally or for the team as a whole.
Perfecto left Virtus.pro
Virtus.pro announced Perfecto’s departure from the organization. In its statement, the club thanked the player for his professionalism, dedication, and contribution to the team.
Since joining the Bears in June 2025, Perfecto represented our colors at the highest level of CS2. We want to thank him for his professionalism, dedication, and everything he brought to the team.
Formally, this is not just a move to the bench or a pause in his career. Perfecto specifically became a free agent, which means he can now independently consider options for continuing his career without being tied to a contract with Virtus.pro.
A year that did not meet expectations
Perfecto joined Virtus.pro in June 2025. Back then, he took a place in the roster after FL4MUS was moved to the bench. On paper, this transfer looked logical: the team needed an experienced and stable player who could add structure and composure.
But the problem was that Virtus.pro were already in a prolonged decline. Even Perfecto’s arrival could not stop the fall in results. The team often exited tournaments in the early stages and showed almost no signs of stable progress.
An attempt through the IGL role
A separate stage of this story was Perfecto’s move to the captain role. After electroNic was benched, it was Perfecto who took on the IGL duties. This was a forced but telling step: the team was looking for a new model of play, and Perfecto’s experience was supposed to help at least temporarily stabilize the situation.
However, this attempt also did not produce the needed effect. Virtus.pro continued to lose ground, and the problems were not only in calls or micromanagement, but in the overall quality of the game. The team looked heavy, slow, and could not impose its style even on lower-level opponents.

The worst stretch at the start of 2026
The most painful moment came at the start of 2026. Virtus.pro lost every match they played during that stretch, including defeats to RUSTEC and WW. After that, the team dropped to 100th place in the VRS, which was a very sharp fall for an organization of this scale.
It was after this that the club effectively pressed the full reset button. Perfecto, FL1T, and fame were moved to the bench, while Virtus.pro decided to build a new roster around academy players. This showed that the organization no longer saw any sense in targeted changes and moved toward a deeper rebuild.
What this status means for Perfecto
For Perfecto, entering the free-agent market may become an important chance to restart his career. His latest period in Virtus.pro turned out unsuccessful, but the player himself still has a strong résumé, experience in big matches, and a reputation as someone who can handle difficult roles.
The main question now is what role he will look for next. As a classic support and experienced rifler, Perfecto may still be interesting for teams that need structure. But if we are talking about the IGL role, the experience in Virtus.pro can hardly be called a convincing argument in his favor.
A new stage after an unsuccessful year
Perfecto’s departure from Virtus.pro looks like a logical end to an unsuccessful stage. The team did not get the expected rise after his arrival, while the player himself could not change the overall trajectory of the roster even after moving into the captain role.
Now both sides are moving forward. Virtus.pro continue their rebuild around younger players, while Perfecto enters the market as a free agent. For him, this is a chance to find a team where his experience will be used in a clearer system, rather than in a roster that was already in a deep crisis.
