BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 continues Stage 1 with a match between Alliance and Wildcard. In the first round, the teams will play a Bo3 series, where the winner will continue the fight for a place at the LAN Finals, while the loser will end their run at the tournament. Alliance independently chose Wildcard as their opponent and approach the match as the favorite based on ranking, odds, and recent results.
BLAST BOUNTY 2026 SEASON 2 STAGE 1 — FORMAT SPECIFICS
Stage 1 is played in a Single Elimination format. All matches are played as Bo3, so every loss means immediate elimination, while the winners advance to the next round of online qualification for the LAN Finals.
Alliance, with the 19th seed, chose Wildcard, who received the 16th seed. This shows the Swedish roster’s confidence in its own map pool and ability to control the series. At the same time, Wildcard have strong numbers on Mirage and Nuke, so the result will largely depend on the veto.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — A NEW MATCHUP
Alliance and Wildcard have not previously faced each other in official matches, so there is no historical advantage between the teams.
Alliance have a better position in the world ranking and over the last few months have more often played against stronger European opposition. Wildcard can compensate for the difference in experience through nEMANHA’s individual form and comfortable maps, but to win, they need to avoid Inferno.
CURRENT FORM
Alliance — progress, discipline, and a strong Inferno
Alliance approach the match after a competitive stretch. The team defeated Nemesis, 9z, B8, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, but lost their latest series to 9z with a 1:2 score. The roster looks good against opponents of its ranking level and is capable of consistently converting an advantage after a successful start to a map.
The key player remains eraa, who has a 1.15 rating over the last three months and shows high efficiency in opening duels. twist and upE will also be important, as they are responsible for creating space and maintaining stability in rifle episodes.

Wildcard — individual potential and unstable results
Wildcard approach the match after two consecutive losses to K27 and Gentle Mates. Before that, the team defeated FOKUS twice and beat Acend, but the roster’s overall stability remains a problem.
The best individual form is being shown by nEMANHA, who has a 1.22 rating, 86.9 average damage per round, and the highest impact among all players in the match. reck and mhL also create an additional threat, as they are capable of changing the course of a map through opening frags and aggressive play.
MAP POOL & VETO
Statistics over the last 3 months (Alliance | Wildcard):
- Cache: — | —
- Dust2: 62% | 62%
- Mirage: — | 80%
- Inferno: 93% | 57%
- Nuke: — | 83%
- Ancient: 64% | —
- Anubis: 44% | —
Expected veto:
- Alliance will almost certainly ban Nuke — one of Wildcard’s strongest maps, where the North American team has an 83% win rate, while Alliance themselves practically do not play it.
- Wildcard are highly likely to remove Inferno. Alliance have won 93% of their matches on this map and have a significant structural advantage on it.
Likely picks:
- Alliance: Ancient — the team has a 64% win rate and regularly uses this map against opponents of its level.
- Wildcard: Mirage — the roster’s strongest available map with an 80% win rate, where Alliance do not have a current official sample.
Possible decider map: Dust2 looks like the most logical option for the third map. Both teams have a 62% win rate, so the result may depend on the starting economy, individual duels, and the quality of late-round decisions.
KEY DUELS
- eraa vs nEMANHA — the main individual duel of the series for tempo control and opening frags.
- twist vs reck — the battle for space and control of key areas at the start of rounds.
- upE vs mhL — a matchup that could determine the outcome of decisive clutch episodes.
PREDICTION
Wildcard have enough individual quality to take Mirage or make Dust2 competitive. nEMANHA remains especially dangerous, as his current form is better than Alliance’s leaders and he can independently change the course of individual rounds.
However, Alliance look like the more organized team, have better recent results, and a stronger structure in Bo3 series. The Swedish roster also independently chose this opponent, and a smart Nuke ban should significantly limit Wildcard’s options.
Projected result: Alliance 2–1 Wildcard
