FURIA and MOUZ will meet in the Lower Bracket Semi-final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 on September 19 at 14:30 CET. The series will be played as a Bo3: the winner advances to the Lower Bracket Final later the same day, while the loser is eliminated from the tournament. MOUZ enter the matchup at #3 in the HLTV ranking, while FURIA sit just behind them at #4.
STARLADDER STARSERIES FALL 2026 — ELIMINATION MATCH
StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 uses a Double Elimination bracket, with all matches before the Grand Final played as Bo3. Eight teams are competing in Barcelona for a $500,000 prize pool.
MOUZ dropped into the lower bracket after a 1:2 loss to NRG in the opening round, but stayed alive by defeating NAVI 2:1. They recovered from a 10:13 loss on Cache by taking Inferno 13:10 and Mirage 13:8.
FURIA started with a 2:1 victory over MIBR before losing 0:2 to Vitality in the Upper Bracket Semi-final. Vitality took Mirage 13:8 and Dust2 13:5, sending FURIA into this elimination match.
The winner will move into the Lower Bracket Final at 19:30 CET, while the loser will finish StarSeries Fall in 5th–6th place.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — FURIA WON BOTH MEETINGS IN 2026
FURIA have the advantage in the recent head-to-head. The teams have met twice in 2026, and FURIA won both series.
At IEM Rio in April, FURIA defeated MOUZ 2:0 with victories on Mirage and Dust2. Two months later, they met again at the IEM Cologne Major, where FURIA won 2:1 after taking Nuke 13:5 and the deciding Overpass 13:7.
That gives FURIA a 4:1 map advantage across their two series this year. However, MOUZ have since changed one player, with PR now part of the current lineup.
CURRENT FORM
MOUZ — stronger recent results despite a shaky start in Barcelona
MOUZ have won three of their last five series. Before StarSeries Fall, they defeated Falcons 2:1 and Vitality 2:0 at BLAST Open Porto before losing the Grand Final 1:3 to Spirit. In Barcelona, they followed the opening defeat to NRG with the 2:1 elimination victory over NAVI.
Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás has the best Rating 3.0 on the team over the last three months at 1.15 across 41 maps, while Lotan “Spinx” Giladi sits at 1.14 and Dorian “xertioN” Berman at 1.10.
xertioN has also been the most stable MOUZ player in Barcelona so far. He recorded a 1.27 rating against NRG and followed it with 1.13 against NAVI.

FURIA — inconsistent results and another loss to Vitality
FURIA have won two of their last five series. They defeated PARIVISION 2:0 at FISSURE Playground 3 and opened StarSeries Fall with a 2:1 victory over MIBR, but lost to Legacy, G2 and now Vitality during the same stretch.
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato remains their most reliable player statistically, holding a 1.18 Rating 3.0 across 48 maps over the last three months. Danil “molodoy” Golubenko follows at 1.13, while Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis has a 1.08 rating.
KSCERATO was also the only FURIA player to finish above a 1.00 rating in the loss to Vitality, ending the series at 1.10 with 92.0 ADR.
MAP POOL & VETO
Statistics over the last 3 months (FURIA | MOUZ):
- Cache: 43% | 33%
- Dust2: 50% | 60%
- Mirage: 62% | 89%
- Inferno: 50% | 100%
- Nuke: 71% | 75%
- Ancient: 50% | 33%
- Anubis: 20% | —
Expected veto:
- Anubis is the clearest opening-ban candidate. MOUZ removed it first against both NRG and NAVI, while FURIA also removed Anubis first against MIBR and Vitality. The exact second opening ban will depend on which team removes it first.
- If MOUZ remove Anubis first, FURIA have a strong statistical reason to target Inferno with their ban. MOUZ have won all five Inferno maps played over the last three months, while FURIA sit at 50%.
Likely maps:
- Mirage is the strongest MOUZ option. They hold an 89% win rate over the last three months and have won eight of nine maps, including a 13:8 victory over NAVI in Barcelona. FURIA are at 62% across eight maps.
- FURIA could target Cache. Their own 43% record is not dominant, but MOUZ have won only one of three Cache maps over the last three months and have already lost it to both NRG and NAVI at this event.
- Nuke is another realistic option if it survives. FURIA hold a 71% win rate and already beat MOUZ 13:5 on the map at the Cologne Major, although MOUZ themselves remain strong on Nuke at 75%.
KEY DUELS
- KSCERATO vs Spinx — the two most stable riflers on their respective teams over the last three months, with both capable of deciding late-round situations.
- molodoy vs torzsi — the main AWP matchup. Both hold a 1.13+ Rating 3.0 over the last three months and will be especially important if Nuke enters the series.
- YEKINDAR vs xertioN — two aggressive riflers whose opening impact can determine which team gets control of the mid-round.
PREDICTION
FURIA have the better recent head-to-head and have already beaten MOUZ twice in 2026. Their Nuke remains strong, KSCERATO continues to provide stable numbers, and Cache could give them a useful target after MOUZ lost the map in both of their matches in Barcelona.
MOUZ, however, have the stronger overall map pool and better recent form. Their huge advantages on Mirage and Inferno give them two clear paths in the veto, while FURIA do not have an equally dominant map of their own. If MOUZ avoid allowing FURIA to dictate the series through Cache and Nuke, their depth across the remaining maps should give them the edge in a close Bo3.
Projected result: MOUZ 2–1 FURIA
