BLAST Open Porto 2026 will continue the Opening Round in Group B with a match between FUT and Legacy. The teams will meet in a Bo3 format: the winner will advance to the Upper semi-finals, while the losing team will drop to Lower Round 1. Legacy are ranked 12th in the world, while FUT are in 14th position, but the European roster approaches the match in good form and has several very comfortable directions in the map pool.
BLAST OPEN PORTO 2026 GROUP B — FORMAT SPECIFICS
The group stage of BLAST Open Porto 2026 is played in a Double Elimination Bo3 format. Group winners advance directly to the Playoffs Semi-finals, while teams that finish the group in second and third place will receive spots in the Quarter-finals. In the Opening Round, victory allows a team to stay in the upper bracket, while defeat sends them to Lower Round 1.
The Bo3 format makes map pool depth especially important. Legacy have strong Dust2 and Inferno, but FUT can answer with a significant advantage on Ancient and good statistics on Mirage and Anubis. Because of this, the key factor of the series will be which team uses the first phase of the veto better.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — FUT HAVE A SMALL ADVANTAGE
In the presented head-to-head matches, FUT have won three maps, while Legacy have won two. At IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1, the European roster took Ancient 13:10 and Dust2 13:7. Earlier, at CS Asia Championships 2025, FUT won 13:8 on Mirage, while Legacy answered with victories of 13:8 on Dust2 and 19:16 on Inferno.
The difference is minimal, so the history of the matchup does not give either side an absolute advantage. At the same time, FUT have already beaten Legacy twice in a row at the start of 2026, which may be an important psychological factor before the new Bo3 series.
CURRENT FORM
FUT — a strong stretch and stable Bo3 wins
FUT have recently been showing good results against strong opponents. The team lost to Spirit 1:3, but before that defeated FURIA 2:1, MOUZ 2:0, magic 2:1, and MOUZ again 2:1. In recent matches, the roster also beat TYLOO 13:10, which confirms the team’s stability across different formats.
The best listed individual numbers belong to dziugss, who has a 1.10 rating over the last three months. He records 0.68 kills per round, has 74.6% KAST, a 1.05 multi-kill rating, and 76.3 ADR. Together with xfl0ud, dem0n, cmtry, and Krabeni, he forms a young roster that already regularly competes with teams from the upper part of the ranking.

Legacy — strong results and excellent form from try
Legacy also approach the match after a series of notable results. The team defeated FURIA 2:1, Falcons 2:0, Natus Vincere 2:0, and MIBR 2:0, although between these successes there was a 0:2 loss to Spirit. This shows that the Brazilian roster is capable of consistently beating top-level opponents.
The main individual threat remains try with a 1.26 rating. He shows 0.83 kills per round, only 0.56 deaths, 82.1% KAST, and a +2.67% round swing. Together with latto, dumau, n1ssim, and arT, he gives Legacy enough firepower to fight FUT evenly.
MAP POOL & VETO
Statistics over the last 3 months (FUT | Legacy):
- Cache: — | —
- Dust2: 33% | 62%
- Mirage: 75% | 67%
- Inferno: — | 83%
- Nuke: 0% | 50%
- Ancient: 75% | 20%
- Anubis: 75% | —
Expected veto:
- FUT will logically try to remove Inferno. Legacy have an 83% win rate on this map across six matches, while FUT have not used it at all in the current stretch. Leaving the opponent such a comfortable pick in Bo3 would be too risky.
- Legacy, in turn, should limit Ancient. FUT have a 75% win rate here across 12 matches, while the Brazilian roster has won only 20% of five played maps. In addition, it was on Ancient that FUT already beat Legacy in their latest head-to-head series.
Likely maps:
- Dust2 looks like one of the most logical choices for Legacy. The team has a 62% win rate across eight matches, while FUT have won only 33% of six maps. This is one of the few positions in the pool where the Brazilian roster has a clear statistical advantage.
- Mirage looks like a natural answer for FUT. The European roster has a 75% win rate here against Legacy’s 67%. If the series reaches a deciding map, Nuke may also remain available, although Legacy’s advantage looks more noticeable there — 50% against 0%.
KEY DUELS
- try vs dziugss — the main individual matchup between the highest-rated players on both teams.
- latto vs xfl0ud — a rifle duel that may determine space control in key rounds.
- n1ssim vs dem0n — a battle for aggressive openings and the ability to create a numbers advantage in the early stages of rounds.
PREDICTION
Legacy have strong current form, a very dangerous try, and several comfortable maps, primarily Dust2 and Inferno. If the Brazilian roster gets at least one of them and manages to take the series to Nuke, the match scenario can become very difficult for FUT.
However, FUT look slightly better specifically from the perspective of the potential veto structure. They have 75% on Mirage, Ancient, and Anubis, won three of the five presented head-to-head maps, and have recently beaten FURIA and MOUZ. If the European roster removes Inferno and does not allow Legacy to get an overly comfortable set of maps, they should have enough advantages to advance to the Upper semi-finals.
Projected result: FUT 2–1 Legacy
