BLAST Open Porto 2026 will continue in Group B with a Lower semi-finals match between Inner Circle and FUT. The teams will play a Bo3 in the lower bracket: the winner will advance to the Lower final and keep their chances of reaching the Playoffs alive, while the losing team will end its run at the tournament. FUT approach the series as the favorite by world ranking and have a noticeably better head-to-head history, but Inner Circle have already created one of the main upsets of the group by defeating Vitality 2:0.
BLAST OPEN PORTO 2026 GROUP B — ELIMINATION MATCH
The group stage of BLAST Open Porto 2026 is played in a Double Elimination Bo3 format. Group winners advance directly to the Playoffs Semi-finals, while teams that finish the group in second and third place receive spots in the Quarter-finals. In the Lower semi-finals, there is no room for error: the winner will continue to the Lower final, while the losing team will end the tournament.
This format makes the veto especially important. Inner Circle have very strong Dust2 and Nuke, while FUT look significantly better on Mirage, Ancient, and Anubis. Because of such different map pool profiles, the series may largely be decided already at the map selection stage.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — FUT HAVE A BIG ADVANTAGE
In the head-to-head map history, FUT have a noticeable advantage — eight wins against three for Inner Circle. The most recent series between the teams took place at PGL Bucharest 2026, where FUT won Ancient 13:3 and Mirage 13:6, although Inner Circle managed to answer with a 13:9 victory on Dust2.
A similar picture can be seen in older matches: FUT more often controlled Ancient and Mirage, while Inner Circle found their chances mainly on Dust2 or separate unconventional maps. That is why it is critically important for the Ukrainian roster not to allow the opponent to get an overly comfortable series after the veto.
CURRENT FORM
Inner Circle — a sensational win over Vitality
Inner Circle approach the match after a mixed but very telling stretch. In the Upper semi-finals, the team lost to MOUZ 0:2, but before that sensationally defeated Vitality 2:0. Recent matches also included victories over Iberian Soul, ASTRAL, and NIO, while the team lost to HOTU 1:2.
The main individual force of the roster remains Dawy, who has a 1.22 rating over the last three months. He shows 0.80 kills per round, 76.6% KAST, a 1.30 multi-kill rating, and 85.6 ADR. If Inner Circle want to create another upset, his stability in rifle rounds will be one of the key factors.

FUT — a stronger ranking and a more stable level
FUT approach the Lower semi-finals after a 2:1 victory over Lynn Vision, which allowed the team to stay in the tournament. Before that, the roster lost to Legacy 0:2 and Spirit 1:3, but also has victories over FURIA 2:1, MOUZ 2:0, and magic 2:1. In the world ranking, FUT are sixth against Inner Circle’s 34th place.
Among the listed players, the best numbers belong to xfl0ud with a 1.09 rating. He records 0.68 kills per round, has 76.1% KAST, a 1.11 multi-kill rating, and 79.4 ADR. FUT do not have as bright a statistical leader as Dawy, but they compensate for this with a more balanced roster structure and a higher average level.
MAP POOL & VETO
Statistics over the last 3 months (Inner Circle | FUT):
- Cache: — | —
- Dust2: 89% | 25%
- Mirage: 50% | 75%
- Inferno: — | —
- Nuke: 83% | 0%
- Ancient: 70% | 71%
- Anubis: 60% | 80%
Expected veto:
- FUT will almost certainly try to remove Dust2. Inner Circle have an 89% win rate on this map across nine matches, while FUT have won only 25% of eight maps. In addition, Dust2 has already helped Inner Circle take a map in head-to-head matches against this opponent.
- Inner Circle, in turn, will logically try to limit Anubis or Mirage as much as possible. FUT have an 80% win rate on Anubis and 75% on Mirage, while the Ukrainian roster itself does not have such a clear advantage in these directions.
Likely maps:
- Nuke looks like a very strong potential choice for Inner Circle. The team has an 83% win rate here across six matches, while FUT have lost all five maps they played. If Nuke remains available, it may become the Ukrainians’ main opportunity to take their own pick.
- Mirage, on the contrary, looks like a logical choice for FUT. The European roster has a 75% win rate against Inner Circle’s 50%. If the series reaches a third map, Ancient looks like the most natural compromise — 70% against 71%, which makes it almost even statistically.
KEY DUELS
- Dawy vs xfl0ud — the main individual matchup of the match between the most noticeable players from both rosters.
- onic vs dem0n — a rifle duel that may determine the tempo of aggressive rounds and the fight for early space.
- headtr1ck vs Krabeni — a matchup for opening frags and control of key distances in the middle of rounds.
PREDICTION
Inner Circle have already proven that they can punish significantly stronger opponents, while their 89% on Dust2 and 83% on Nuke create real tools for fighting in this series. If the team gets at least one of these maps and Dawy continues to play at his current level, the match can absolutely go to a third map.
However, FUT look more reliable over the distance of a Bo3. They have a much better head-to-head history, strong Mirage, Ancient, and Anubis, as well as an advantage in overall team level. Inner Circle are capable of taking their own pick, but FUT have more ways to adapt to the series and should advance to the Lower final.
Projected result: FUT 2–1 Inner Circle
