s1mple’s BC.Game have failed to make it through two open qualifiers for Stake Pulse Beat 2. The roster first lost to Russian team QUAZAR, ranked 89th in the VRS standings, before falling to Team NT, which features Woro2k.
The story is not only about two qualifier defeats. BC.Game entered the events with a lineup featuring s1mple, electroNic and Magisk, three players with major experience at the top level of Counter-Strike. However, the team could not overcome QUAZAR or Team NT on its path to Stake Pulse Beat 2.
Stake Pulse Beat II details
The two open qualifiers offered BC.Game a route to Stake Pulse Beat II. The tournament will take place from September 21 to 26 and will feature a $60,000 prize pool.
100 Thieves, Astralis, Fnatic, and HEROIC are among the teams set to compete at the event. Therefore, the unsuccessful qualifier runs denied BC.Game the chance to join a field that includes several established international lineups.
QUAZAR defeat BC.Game in first qualifier
BC.Game lost 9-13 to QUAZAR in the first open qualifier. QUAZAR were ranked 89th in the VRS ranking at the time of the match.
The Russian side were led by kaioriii, who finished with a 1.43 rating, 25 kills, and 106.0 ADR. For BC.Game, mzinho was the highest-rated player with 1.40, while s1mple posted a 1.11 rating.

Team NT end the second attempt
BC.Game received another chance in the second open qualifier. However, the team lost 13-16 to Team NT, whose roster includes former NAVI player Woro2k.
s1mple recorded 24 kills and a 1.10 rating in the match. Magisk and electroNic both finished with a 1.12 rating. Meanwhile, Team NT’s m4d4ra666 topped the server with a 1.68 rating, while Woro2k posted a 1.40 rating.

A roster with major experience
BC.Game played the qualifiers with s1mple, electroNic, Senzu, Magisk, mzinho, and coach TaZ. The squad combines players from several generations of top-level Counter-Strike.
That is why the qualifier results drew attention. The team were eliminated by QUAZAR, a Russian side outside the top 80 of the VRS ranking, and then by Team NT in their second attempt.
A difficult start for BC.Game
BC.Game will not qualify for Stake Pulse Beat 2 through the two open qualifiers. The losses do not define the roster’s future, but they are an early setback for a team with such recognisable names.
The QUAZAR defeat was particularly striking because of the difference in VRS positions. The comeback was not enough to secure the series. Team NT won the overtime rounds and closed out the match 16-13, eliminating BC.Game from the second Stake Pulse Beat 2 open qualifier.
