GamerLegion have announced that Snax will move out of the active roster. The organization confirmed the news in an official statement. It also thanked the player for his leadership and for the moments he gave the team.
Snax was part of the squad during two of its biggest results this year. Therefore, his exit closes an important chapter for the club and its fans.
Two Big Results Together
Snax wore the GamerLegion jersey once again before this announcement. During that time, he led the team as in-game leader. The squad then delivered two strong tournament runs within about two weeks.
Snax’s Key Results With GamerLegion
The first run came at BLAST Rivals Season 1, which was held in Fort Worth from April 29 to May 3, 2026. GamerLegion opened the event with a 2:1 win over FURIA. However, NAVI beat them 2:0 in the next match, so the team started the playoffs in the quarterfinals. The squad still reached the semifinals. There, it lost 0:2 to Vitality, finished in 3rd-4th place and earned $40,000. As a result, GamerLegion became one of the biggest gainers in the VRS standings, even though it was one of the lowest-ranked teams at the event.
Next came IEM Atlanta, which ran from May 11 to May 17. On the way to the grand final, GamerLegion beat SINNERS, Liquid, Astralis, paiN and Legacy. In the semifinal, the team won a close 2:1 series against Legacy and took the deciding map 13:6. In the grand final, however, NAVI won 3:0. Even so, it was GamerLegion’s first notable grand final since the BLAST.tv Paris Major three years earlier.
What the Announcement Says
GamerLegion shared the news in a short message addressed directly to the player. The club wrote:
You’ve given us so many moments to remember, from our unforgettable playoff run at BLAST Rivals to reaching the grand final of IEM Atlanta. Thank you for your leadership and everything you’ve brought to the team. You’ve earned a special place in the hearts of so many in GamerLegion, and we’re grateful to have had you wear our jersey once again.
After the departure, the active GamerLegion lineup includes Tauson, FL4MUS, hypex and REZ. In addition, imd remains with the team as coach. However, the announcement does not name a replacement for Snax. The club has not shared any further details about the roster or its plans.
Why It Matters
Snax’s move out of the active roster changes the core of the team. He led the side through the playoff run at BLAST Rivals and the grand final at IEM Atlanta. As a result, GamerLegion now face the task of keeping that level without him. Finally, fans will be waiting for the club’s next update on the lineup.
