Danil “donk” Kryshkovets finished as the highest-rated player of the series with a 1.45 Rating 3.0, while Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich followed with a 1.36 rating.
Tournament context
Both collectives entered the series after comfortable victories in their opening matches. Spirit defeated DENDELE 2:0, while G2 started the tournament with a 2:0 win over Aurora.
Spirit also arrived in Porto immediately after winning the Esports World Cup 2026, where they defeated FUT 3:1 in the grand final. The victory over G2 extended their winning streak to eight series.

Spirit took control of their own map choice from the opening half, building a 9:3 advantage before the side switch. G2 managed only three additional rounds in the second half as Spirit closed Dust2 13:6.
tN1R produced the strongest individual performance on the map, finishing with a 1.69 Rating 3.0. Artem “r1nkle” Moroz was the only G2 player to finish above a 1.00 rating on Dust2, recording a 1.16.

G2 were unable to turn the series around on their own pick. Spirit again built an advantage in the opening half, taking an 8:4 lead before G2 managed to make the second half more competitive.
The teams split the final ten rounds 5:5, allowing Spirit to close Cache 13:9 and complete the sweep. Ancient, which had been left as the deciding map, was not needed.

G2 struggled to match the individual output of Spirit. Matúš “MATYS” Šimko was their highest-rated player at 1.00, while Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač finished the series with a 0.44 Rating 3.0.

What’s next?
Spirit advance to the Group A upper bracket final, where they will face the winner of M80 vs FURIA on August 31. Spirit have already guaranteed themselves a place in the BLAST Open Porto 2026 playoffs, while winning the group would send them directly to the semifinals.
G2 drop to the lower bracket and will face Aurora on August 30. Aurora stayed alive in the tournament after defeating DENDELE 2:0 in Lower Round 1.
Another defeat would eliminate G2 from BLAST Open Porto 2026 before the playoffs.
