MOUZ continue to strengthen their young player development system and have brought back a person who is already very familiar with their academy. After a year as the head coach of HEROIC, TOBIZ has rejoined the organization, but will now receive a much broader role.

TOBIZ received a new role at MOUZ

Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo became Head of Talent Development and will be responsible for developing young players across MOUZ’s entire Counter-Strike structure. His work will cover scouting for MOUZ NXT, the development of individual players, and coordination between the academy, the main roster, and management.

A separate part of the job will involve supporting the coaching staff and working with the organization’s educational partners. In effect, MOUZ want to make TOBIZ one of the key people who will oversee a promising player’s path from the academy to the professional level.

Return to a familiar system

TOBIZ already worked at MOUZ from 2022 to 2025 and coached MOUZ NXT. After returning, he emphasized that the new position will allow him to directly influence the organization’s next generation of players.

I am very happy to come back home again. Working in the new role of Head of Talent Development, where I will be able to help and develop the next generation of players, really inspires me. MOUZ put an incredible amount of effort into talent development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this.

For TOBIZ, this is no longer just a return to coaching work with one team. Now his task will be to develop the entire system, including finding new talent, mentoring young players, and supporting those who could potentially move up to the main roster.

The academy has already given MOUZ the core of its current roster

MOUZ NXT remains one of the most successful academy projects in Counter-Strike. The team repeatedly won the WePlay Academy League and was used not just as a separate youth roster, but as a full-fledged system for preparing players for the main lineup.

The result of this work can be seen directly in the current MOUZ. torzsi, xertioN, xelex, and PR went through the organization’s academy system. In addition to them, MOUZ NXT was represented at different times by Jimpphat, siuhy, Neityu, and Jorko.

TOBIZ returns after a year in HEROIC

In 2025, TOBIZ left MOUZ and became the head coach of HEROIC. During this period, he worked through several roster rebuilds and helped different versions of the team return to the top 20 of VRS.

Among the main results of his work were victory at DraculaN Season 5, second place at CCT Global Finals 2026, and a top-four finish at CAC 2025. HEROIC also played at IEM Cologne Major, after which TOBIZ is now returning to a more long-term project.

MOUZ are betting on their own players

The return of TOBIZ fits well into the model that MOUZ have been building for several years. The organization is not only looking for ready-made stars, but is trying to find young players, develop them inside MOUZ NXT, and gradually move them up to the main roster.

Now this system gets a dedicated leader with experience in both academy and tier-1 Counter-Strike. And if the current model continues to produce the same results, TOBIZ’s role could become one of the key elements of the next generation of MOUZ.
