Falcons officially introduced their CS2 academy roster — Falcons Force. But instead of a loud debut, the project immediately found itself at the center of heated discussions. The reason was the choice of 22-year-old Dane Benjamin “Olaie” Olaie as the team’s captain and his personal connections with the academy’s head coach, Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen.
FALCONS FORCE — THE START OF A NEW PROJECT
The Falcons academy was conceived as a pathway for young European talents to reach the big stage. The organization opened a global application process, which attracted thousands of players. After several qualifying stages, only five remained:
- Vladimir “VENO” Stankovic (Serbia) — an aggressive rifler, known on the local scene for his consistent attacking play.
- Andrei “grecu” Grecu (Romania) — AWPer, one of the most promising snipers in the region, already featured in FPL-C.
- Oskar “clockzi” Led Blæsbjerg (Denmark) — a 14-year-old rifler, the youngest on the roster, already called a “future discovery.”
- Benjamin “Olaie” Olaie (Denmark) — IGL, who previously worked in the Ace League project connected to NaToSaphiX.
- Matej “NucleonZ” Trajkoski (North Macedonia) — a versatile rifler combining aggression with team discipline.
OLAIE AND THE CONNECTION TO NATOSAPHIX: THE MAIN SOURCE OF CONTROVERSY
Right after the announcement, the community focused on Olaie’s selection. His involvement in Ace League, a platform once developed by NaToSaphiX, raised suspicions of conflict of interest.
Critics claimed that it was thanks to these personal connections that he got the chance to become IGL of the Falcons academy, while other candidates were left out.

In response, NaToSaphiX insisted that Olaie went through the full selection process and was chosen for his work ethic and rapid progress. According to the coach, “he adapts to feedback faster than anyone else, and that’s a key quality for a leader.”
FALCONS ACADEMY AS A BRIDGE FROM LOCAL LEAGUES TO THE GLOBAL STAGE
Falcons Force matters not only for the club but also for the broader context. The roster brings together players from the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Scandinavia — regions where young talents often lack direct access to the infrastructure of top clubs.
The Falcons project opens the doors for them to the international level: training, psychological support, participation in bootcamps and tournaments.

For Saudi Arabia, the academy is also a tool of long-term influence: the development of Falcons Force underlines the country’s ambition to secure its place in world esports not only through high-profile transfers but also by investing in the future.
POTENTIAL AND RISKS OF THE NEW ROSTER: WHAT TO EXPECT FROM FALCONS FORCE
The Falcons Force roster looks promising but at the same time unstable.
- Pros: the presence of young talents, a strong AWPer in Grecu, and the potential of clockzi, already called one of the most exciting teenagers in CS2.
- Cons: lack of professional scene experience and the risk that controversies around Olaie may distract from the team’s development.
In the short term, Falcons Force is expected to appear at secondary European tournaments. If the players can adapt to the pressure, the team could become a talent pipeline for the main Falcons roster.
