The organization HEROIC has officially announced that Olek “hades” Miskiewicz will join the team as a substitute for the CS Asia Championships 2025, which begins on October 14 in Shanghai.
TEMPORARY SUBSTITUTE DUE TO VISA ISSUES
The team’s main AWPer, Alimzhan “Alkaren” Bitimbay, will be unable to participate in the tournament due to delays in obtaining his visa. In a statement, HEROIC emphasized that this is a temporary situation and that they expect the player to return to the main roster in time for the PGL Bucharest Major.
POLAND STRONG. We are happy to welcome @hadesCS2 as a substitute for the CS Asia Championships! Alkaren cannot travel due to visa issues, but we expect him to be ready for PGL Bucharest.

SECOND MAJOR STAND-IN FOR HADES IN 2025
For hades, this marks his second major appearance as a stand-in this year. Earlier in the season, the Polish player temporarily represented G2 Esports, participating in three tournaments, including the BLAST.tv Austin Major. He delivered consistent performances there, finishing with a 1.02 rating and coming just one step short of reaching the playoffs.
Afterward, hades joined Inner Circle, but following the summer transfer window, the organization reshaped its roster by signing the TNL lineup, leaving the Polish player without a team. Despite this, he quickly returned to competition, helping his former teammates from ex-Inner Circle secure second place at the Birch Cup and later appearing as a stand-in for Betclic during the Galaxy Battle Phase 4 event.
HEROIC roster for CS Asia Championships 2025:
- Linus “LNZ” Holtäng
- Simon “yxngstxr” Boije
- Linus “nilo” Bergman
- Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç
- Olek “hades” Miskiewicz
- Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo — coach
HEROIC IN SEARCH OF STABILITY
For HEROIC, this move represents another step in rebuilding their roster after a turbulent year. The team is gradually finding a new balance between youth and experience, and hades’ presence may provide the lineup with additional confidence in the short term.
Although the Polish player is only a temporary replacement for the team’s main AWPer, his experience in major tournaments and consistently solid individual form could play a key role in achieving strong results in Shanghai.
