After several months of searching for stability, the Swedish organization Johnny Speeds takes another step toward restructuring. The team has announced a roster change.
A new chapter for Johnny Speeds
The decision comes after a series of inconsistent performances in the second half of October. Following losses to Sangal and Alliance, the team finished their run at Winline Insight Season 9 without a single win and dropped in the rankings — Johnny Speeds currently sit at 73rd in the world ranking and 62nd in the Valve Ranking.
The management stated that this move aims to “reassess the team’s role dynamics.” According to the organization, Svedjehed remained an important part of the roster; however, the change is intended to bring a fresh approach and improve the team’s internal structure.

Svedjehed’s short path with the roster
Leo joined Johnny Speeds in April 2025, participating in more than 150 official maps and finishing this period with a 0.97 rating. His greatest achievement came with the team’s victory at Svenska Elitserien Spring Finals 2025, where they defeated Metizport in the final. Despite this, over the past few months he gradually lost his starting position due to role changes and the arrival of new players.
Today we announce that @leosvedjehed is moving to the bench. @cn1Licale will be joining the squad on a trial period as we assess our options.
This decision is based on our recent results. We're happy with how far we've come, but we want to do even better.

Who is Licale
Liam “Licale” Leckremo is another Swedish talent who last played for Volt. After his contract ended in July, he remained teamless, actively practicing on FACEIT and looking for an opportunity to return to the professional scene. Now he has been given a chance to prove himself alongside experienced players — draken, Lekr0, Sapec, and HEAP.
According to representatives of Johnny Speeds, Licale’s trial period will last several weeks. The team will evaluate his synergy with the core lineup, especially during the matches of CCT Season 3 Europe Series 9, where the roster will try to regain positive momentum.
Current Johnny Speeds roster
- William “draken” Sundin
- Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
- Anton “Sapec” Palmgren
- Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso
- Liam “Licale” Leckremo (trial)
- André “BARBARR” Möller (coach)
- Leo “Svedjehed” Svedjehed (benched)
Statistics and current form
Johnny Speeds currently hold a 48.9% win rate over the past three months. Their best maps are Dust2 (61.5%), Overpass (55.6%), and Inferno (52.6%), while Ancient remains their weakest (25%). The current roster hasn’t won a single match since the August updates, and a new approach to team roles could be decisive.

Comment and outlook
Coach André “BARBARR” Möller, who has led the team since June, emphasized that the roster needs “a new internal impulse.” Given the short tenure of the current lineup (HEAP — 2 months, Lekr0 — 3 months), changing one element may determine whether the team can climb higher in the rankings before the season ends.
