AMATEUR HOUR — Skin.Club × Team Vitality Community Tournament
Skin.Club & Team Vitality are launching the AMATEUR HOUR – the huge celebration for true Counter-Strike fans this September! What started as a simple idea to give back to the community has turned into an event that will bridge the gap between casual players and professional CS2 masterminds, allowing them all to play, learn, and win. And most importantly, just have fun together.
Simply, AMATEUR HOUR is a tournament where everybody is a winner. Every participant has a shot at victory, and those who don’t make it to the top will still get a unique chance to learn directly from some of the world’s best Counter-Strike experts.
Meet Rémy “xtqzzz” Quoniam, Jack Birtwhistle, and Mathieu Leber – Team Vitality’s coaching staff, who led the team into the most dominant period in Counter-Strike history. They are joining AMATEUR HOUR with one goal: to help all participants become better players. If legends like ZywOo or apEX listen to them, you’re definitely going to pick up a trick or two too, right?
AMATEUR HOUR will roll out in a few stages to keep the competition fair and give our guests plenty of time to drop their pro tips to players. Each stage brings bigger stakes, more action, and tougher challenges for everyone involved.
- First Stage: September 12–13
- Swiss (Top 16): September 15–17
- Playoffs: September 19–20
- Grand Final: September 21
The First Stage is the entry point for all teams, with four rounds of bo3 matches. XTQZZZ, Jack, and Mathieu will be on hand to share coaching tips along the way.
Next comes the Swiss Stage, where the action really heats up. Team Vitality’s coaches will be even more involved – breaking down highlights, sharing best-play compilations, and gathering feedback from participants as we track every team’s journey to the next phase.
Finally, the Playoffs bring it all together. AMATEUR HOUR will peak with a live stream hosted by our ambassadors. Expect everything: highlight reels, guest appearances, player interviews, and plenty of exclusive content.
Casters & Broadcast Talent
To make the final stages even more exciting, AMATEUR HOUR will feature special casting and hosting:
- Dona — English broadcast host (September 20–21)
- Shox — French broadcast host (September 20–21)
- Mauisnake — English broadcast host (September 20–21)
They will bring their unique style and insights, making sure fans enjoy the Playoffs and Grand Final in the best way possible.
And of course, the big question: what about the prizes?
And that’s not all! The top 5 winners of AMATEUR HOUR get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a pro for a day. You and your team will fly to Paris, visit Team Vitality’s HQ, meet the coaches in person, and get a live review of your games straight from the experts.
They will also receive a Vitality box, a privileged discussion time with Neo (Vitality’s CEO) and a hand shake with Vitality CS2 team!
