IEM Cologne Major 2026 is ready to turn the Cathedral of Counter-Strike into the center of the CS world once again. From June 2-21, 32 teams will battle through three brutal stages and the legendary LANXESS Arena in Cologne, fighting for a massive $1,250,000 prize pool and one of the most prestigious trophies in Counter-Strike history.

The Major begins with Stage 1, where 16 teams will fight to survive the opening Swiss stage. Squads like HEROIC, Liquid, BIG, MIBR, TYLOO, FlyQuest, Lynn Vision, and GamerLegion will have no room for mistakes as only eight teams advance further.

Stage 2 raises the pressure even higher. Eight qualified teams from Stage 1 will join heavy hitters such as Spirit, G2, Astralis, paiN, Monte, Legacy, 9z, and FUT Esports in another brutal Swiss battle for a spot among the elite.

Waiting in Stage 3 are the world’s top contenders. Vitality, NAVI, Falcons, MOUZ, FURIA, PARIVISION, Aurora, and The MongolZ have already secured direct invitations to the final stage of the Major, putting them just one step away from the playoffs inside the packed LANXESS Arena.

This year’s Major will also introduce one of the biggest format changes in CS history, as every Stage 3 match will be played in a best-of-three format, removing BO1s entirely at the final Swiss stage.

The best teams will fight through every stage, while the iconic LANXESS Arena prepares for another unforgettable playoff weekend. IEM Cologne Major 2026 is set to deliver the kind of elite Counter-Strike moments fans will remember for years.
