From April 13 to April 19, IEM Rio 2026 drops 16 of the world’s best teams into one of the most unforgiving environments in CS, all fighting for a $1,000,000 prize pool and a serious statement win early in the season.

The format doesn’t give you room to breathe. A double-elimination group stage (Bo3) means you get a second chance — but only if you’re good enough to take it. Then it’s straight into single-elimination playoffs, where one bad series sends you packing. It all leads to a Bo5 Grand Final, where only one team survives the chaos.
