3DMAX Are Champions of Logitech G Play Connect 2026

3DMAX defeated Luminosity 3:2 in the Grand Final of Logitech G Play Connect 2026 and became champions of the $100,000 LAN in Warsaw. Bryan “Maka” Canda led the five-map series with a 1.32 Rating 3.0 as 3DMAX won Cache, Dust2 and the deciding Nuke.

Tournament context

Logitech G Play Connect 2026 took place from September 17–23 in Warsaw, Poland, with 12 teams competing for a $100,000 prize pool. The tournament featured a round-robin Bo1 group stage followed by single-elimination playoffs, with the Grand Final played as a Bo5.

Luminosity reached the final after defeating B8 2:0 in the semifinal. 3DMAX came from behind to beat Inner Circle 2:1 in the other semifinal before meeting Luminosity for the title.

The champions earned $40,000, while Luminosity received $20,000 for second place.

3DMAX opened the series with an 8:4 lead on Cache. Luminosity responded with seven rounds after the side switch, but 3DMAX found the five they needed to close their own pick 13:11.

Luminosity started Dust2 with an 8:4 first half before 3DMAX answered with the same scoreline to force overtime. 3DMAX eventually won the additional rounds 7:4 and took the Luminosity pick 19:16 to move one map away from the title.

Luminosity kept the series alive on Ancient. They led 7:5 at halftime before 3DMAX produced a 7:5 half of their own, sending a second consecutive map to overtime. Luminosity controlled the extra rounds 7:3 to win 19:15.

Inferno allowed Luminosity to complete the comeback from 0:2 to 2:2. They took a 7:5 advantage into halftime and added six of the next nine rounds to close their own pick 13:8.

Nuke decided the championship. 3DMAX built a 9:3 lead before Luminosity responded with a 9:3 half of their own to force the third overtime of the Grand Final. 3DMAX won the extra rounds 4:1 and closed the map 16:13 to secure the trophy.

Maka finished as the highest-rated player in the Grand Final with a +29 kill differential and the best ADR in the series. Tournament organizers also named him MVP of Logitech G Play Connect 2026.

Across the full event, Maka averaged a 1.17 Rating 3.0 over 16 maps and finished with a +52 kill differential.

Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier followed with a 1.07 Rating 3.0 in the final, while Jeremy “Kursy” Gast recorded 104 kills and a 1.03 rating.

For Luminosity, Aurélien “afro” Drapier led the team with a 1.17 Rating 3.0 and a 112–91 K–D. Simon “yxngstxr” Boije finished with 113 kills and a 1.13 rating.

VRS results

3DMAX gained 34 VRS points from the Grand Final and climbed three positions to #22. Luminosity lost 17 points from the final and dropped two places to #21.

Across the full tournament, however, both teams made major gains. 3DMAX moved from #43 to #22 in the live VRS, while Luminosity climbed from around #32 to #21.

The current HLTV projection for the November 2 PGL Singapore Major 2026 cutoff places 3DMAX #11 in Europe and Luminosity #12. Under that projection, both teams would currently qualify directly to Stage 2.

What’s next?

3DMAX finish Logitech G Play Connect 2026 as champions and take home $40,000. Luminosity end the tournament in second place with $20,000, while Inner Circle and B8 shared 3rd–4th place and earned $10,000 each.

Both finalists also leave Warsaw in a much stronger position in the Major race, with the November 2 cutoff still ahead.

Match summary

3DMAX won the opening two maps and moved within one map of the championship before Luminosity responded on Ancient and Inferno. Three of the five maps required overtime, with the series eventually coming down to Nuke after Luminosity recovered from a 0:2 deficit.

Maka delivered the strongest individual performance of the Grand Final and was also named tournament MVP. The title gave 3DMAX $40,000 and a major VRS boost, while Luminosity still leave Warsaw with a significant ranking improvement despite falling short in the final.
