The team list for FISSURE Playground 3 has been finalized. The final ticket to the LAN in Suzhou, China, was claimed by 5star, who won the Asia Closed Qualifier and joined 15 other teams in the fight for the $1 million prize pool.
5star took the final slot
In the decisive match of the Asian qualifier, 5star faced Chinggis Warriors and closed the series with a 2:0 score. Thanks to this victory, the Mongolian team received a place at the main tournament and finalized the 16-team lineup.
For 5star, this will be an opportunity to test themselves not only against regional opponents. In Suzhou, the team will face representatives from Europe, South America, and Asia, and the level of competition will be significantly higher than in the closed qualifier.
5star went through the qualifier undefeated
The team symbolically began its run with a victory over Chinggis Warriors as well — in the opening round, 5star won 2:0. After that, the Mongolian roster sent NEXVOID and Rare Atom to the lower bracket and reached the Grand Final without losses.
In the final, Chinggis Warriors once again became the opponent, but there was no revenge. 5star won the series 2:0 for the second time and confirmed that they were the most stable team of the Asian qualifier.
Mongolia will have two teams at once
5star will become the second Mongolian representative at FISSURE Playground 3. The MongolZ had previously received a place at the tournament through VRS, so local fans will have two teams at once to follow in Suzhou.
At the same time, The MongolZ will arrive at the tournament with an updated five. Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar returned to the main roster and took the place of Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold, so this LAN will also be an important test for the team after the roster change.

FISSURE Playground 3 will take place in Suzhou, China, and the total prize pool of the tournament will be $1 million. With such a scale, even the early matches carry significant weight, especially for teams that rarely participate in championships with similar prize money.
