Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov has set a new Counter-Strike 2 LAN record for the most kills on a single map, recording 62 frags for INFURITY against Inner Circle Academy at Urban Riga Open Season 7. Despite the individual performance, INFURITY lost Dust2 29:31 after six overtimes.
The 23-year-old finished the map with a 62–37 K–D, 105.0 ADR, 81.7% KAST and a 1.59 Rating 3.0.
AwaykeN breaks previous 60-kill LAN record
The previous CS2 LAN record was jointly held by Alexander “Altekz” Givskov and Nils “k1to” Gruhne, who both recorded 60 kills in the same AM vs Nexus match at Digital Crusade DraculaN Season 2 almost exactly one year ago.
AwaykeN surpassed that mark by two kills during a 60-round Dust2 marathon against Inner Circle Academy.
AwaykeN was comfortably the highest-rated INFURITY player, finishing with a +25 kill differential. Dmytro “L1seYoung” Liebidynskii led Inner Circle Academy with 55 kills, 98.5 ADR and a 1.39 Rating 3.0.
Third-highest kill total in CS2 overall
While AwaykeN now owns the LAN record, his 62 kills are tied for the third-highest single-map total in CS2 across all matches.
The overall record belongs to Adrian “xelex” Vincze with 67 kills, followed by Dmitry “sstiNiX” Khlebnikov with 63. Alejandro “mopoz” Fernández-Quejo Cano, pain and AwaykeN are tied at 62. HLTV excludes tried’s 67-kill performance because it came in a showmatch.
