FlyQuest approach DraculaN Season 2 with a new head coach. The team has made an important staffing decision that could become a turning point in their season.
A LEADER WITH AUSTRALIAN CHARACTER
Aaron “AZR” Ward is a well-known name to fans of Australian CS. He captained Renegades and 100 Thieves, played at several Majors, and built a reputation as one of the region’s best tactical leaders. His experience at the top level brings FlyQuest the stability and strategic depth the team had been lacking in previous tournaments. This background makes AZR’s appointment important not only from a management perspective but also in shaping the squad’s playing identity.

THE FACTOR OF REUNITING WITH JKS
One of the key aspects of AZR’s arrival is his reunion with Justin “jks” Savage. They already walked a long road together in Renegades and 100 Thieves, where they helped lay the foundations of the Australian scene. Their chemistry and mutual understanding could become the cornerstone of FlyQuest, as jks now has a mentor who knows his strengths and weaknesses inside out. This may help not only in tactical schemes but also in regaining confidence after a period of inconsistent results.

FLYQUEST’S POTENTIAL AT DRACULAN SEASON 2
FlyQuest started their campaign with a loss to BASEMENT BOYS but quickly recovered to confidently defeat Metizport in the lower bracket (2:0). Their strength was evident on Overpass and Dust2, where nettik and regali took on the role of driving force. The team has a strong map pool — 100% win rate on Overpass and nearly 90% on Dust2 over the last three months. At the same time, weaknesses remain clear: inconsistency on Mirage and lack of results on Nuke.
AZR’s arrival has already had an impact: FlyQuest played more organized on defense and more aggressively controlled the tempo. However, the question lies in mentality — will they have the resilience to battle through a series of tough opponents in the lower bracket?

FUTURE PROSPECTS
In the immediate future, FlyQuest face a decisive match against the winner of SINNERS/OG in DraculaN Season 2. This will be a true test for the new coaching staff. In the long term, signing AZR looks like a strategic move: FlyQuest have gained not just a coach but a leader with international experience, capable of uniting young talents like Vexite and nettik with veterans of jks’ caliber. The first signs of success are already visible — the team looks more composed, and the individual performances of key players are beginning to stabilize. If the development continues as planned, FlyQuest could secure a spot in the world’s top 20 this season.
A STARTING POINT FOR FUTURE RESULTS
AZR’s appointment is not just a tactical change but the beginning of a new chapter for FlyQuest. The team has acquired someone who can build their long-term structure and help balance aggressive play with discipline. DraculaN Season 2 will be the first serious test for the updated roster, and it will show whether FlyQuest can turn their potential into real results.
