BC.Game CEO Ako has disclosed another transfer target the organization pursued during its ambitious 2026 roster rebuild. After previously revealing unsuccessful attempts to acquire FaZe’s core and several other high-profile players, he confirmed that BC.Game also negotiated with Virtus.pro’s Timur “FL4MUS” Marev. However, the deal collapsed because the financial demands did not make sense for the organization.
BC.Game confirms talks with FL4MUS

The discussion resurfaced after Ako answered a community question about FL4MUS. He confirmed that BC.Game wanted to sign the Russian rifler, who could have joined a lineup featuring Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.
Yeah, we spoke with FL4MUS, but we didn’t come to an agreement, that’s the truth. We were super interested in him but it didn’t… the numbers didn’t make sense. And yeah, that was it. The numbers didn’t make sense and it was not FL4MUS himself that asked for too much.
Ako stressed that FL4MUS was not responsible for the failed negotiations. Instead, he explained that the overall financial conditions prevented the transfer.
Another name joins BC.Game’s ambitious transfer list
The revelation follows several similar statements from Ako over the past few days. The BC.Game CEO previously claimed the organization explored moves for donk, b1t, frozen, jL, Jimpphat, rain, CYHPER, maxster and many other players. He also said BC.Game considered acquiring the cores of FaZe, NAVI, Spirit, HEROIC, Legacy and GamerLegion.
Later, Ako clarified that not every contact became a formal negotiation.
Not fully true. Some we spoken to just to see where they at and some we tried to convince.
His explanation suggests BC.Game cast a very wide net during its recruitment campaign. Still, only a small number of those conversations turned into serious negotiations.
Community revives “VP prison” debate
Ako’s comments quickly sparked another wave of criticism toward Virtus.pro. Many fans argued that FL4MUS remains stuck at the organization, reviving the long-running “VP prison” meme linked to expensive buyouts.
Several community members joked that Virtus.pro’s contract demands blocked another promising transfer. Others questioned whether the organization would ever receive the reported asking price. Memes showing Virtus.pro players behind prison bars quickly spread across social media.
Not everyone agreed with the criticism. Some fans argued that joining BC.Game would not necessarily have improved FL4MUS’ career. They pointed out that the organization is still building a stable Tier-1 project, even with s1mple on the roster.

What this means
Although the transfer never happened, Ako’s comments provide another look at BC.Game’s aggressive recruitment strategy during the 2026 off-season. The organization openly approached numerous elite players and entire rosters before assembling its current lineup around s1mple, electroNic, Senzu and Magisk. Meanwhile, FL4MUS remains under contract with Virtus.pro, and there are no signs that a transfer is close.
