A public dispute has erupted between BC.Game CEO Ako and FaZe co-owner Kaysan over an alleged attempt to buy FaZe’s Counter-Strike 2 roster. What started as a supposed leak quickly turned into a heated exchange on X. Both sides accused each other of misleading the community.
BC.Game CEO says the organization tried to buy FaZe

The controversy began when BC.Game CEO Ako claimed the organization had tried to acquire FaZe’s entire CS2 lineup.
I’ll tell you this, this is actually a leak. We tried to buy the whole FaZe core. I spoke with my partner about it and everything, and they said no.
Ako said BC.Game looked at other options after FaZe rejected the offer. His comments spread rapidly across the Counter-Strike community, and several CS2 news accounts shared them.

Kaysan denies the claims and criticizes Ako
FaZe co-owner Kaysan dismissed the story. He first reacted with laughing emojis before posting a lengthy response aimed directly at the BC.Game CEO.
You’re a CEO acting like a child. Put out proof? You went to our team and they told you no. You kept trying to go behind our backs to others to get another answer, didn’t get your way and now pillow talking on the internet. Unprofessional. If it’s attention you want, good job.
Kaysan acknowledged that BC.Game had contacted people connected to FaZe. However, he insisted the organization had already rejected the proposal. He also accused Ako of trying to bypass FaZe’s decision by approaching other people after receiving a “no.”
CEO hints at additional evidence
Ako refused to back down. Instead, he suggested that he could release evidence to support his claims.
Am I lying? Or should I put out the proof? 🙂
Neither side has published any evidence so far. FaZe and BC.Game have also avoided making official organizational statements beyond the personal posts from their representatives.

Community reaction
The exchange quickly became one of the biggest talking points in the CS2 community. Some fans supported Kaysan and argued that failed negotiations should remain private. Others called on Ako to publish the evidence he mentioned.
For now, the alleged attempt to buy FaZe’s roster remains unverified. The public only has conflicting statements from the two executives, and it remains unclear whether either side will provide proof.
