BC.Game Esports have officially announced the signing of Russian rifler Denis “electroNic” Sharipov. The 27-year-old former Virtus.pro player returns to the top level of Counter-Strike, reuniting with his former Natus Vincere teammate Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. For fans, this marks a historic moment — after two years of separation, one of the most iconic duos in CS history is back together.
The big return: electroNic and s1mple together again
BC.Game made a brief but powerful announcement on X (Twitter):
Calm down everyone we are still cooking

The post, accompanied by a short teaser featuring Inferno clips, instantly went viral — over 750,000 views in just a few hours. But what truly sent shockwaves through the community was the realization that the legendary s1mple–electroNic duo was reuniting.
The pair that brought Natus Vincere their first-ever Major title at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 is now joining forces under a new banner — BC.Game, a controversial but rapidly expanding organization that’s leveraging its gaming brand to enter the world of esports.

The golden era of NaVi: six years of shared history
electroNic joined Natus Vincere in 2017, when s1mple was already among the brightest stars in global CS. Together, they built one of the most stable and dominant cores in the game’s history. Their chemistry delivered NaVi numerous titles — IEM Katowice 2020, ESL One Cologne 2018 and 2021, BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, and, of course, their crowning achievement: Major Stockholm 2021, the organization’s first Major win.
Their styles perfectly complemented each other — s1mple ruled the server with instinctive AWP control, while electroNic dictated tempo with timing and tactical aggression.
But in the summer of 2023, NaVi transitioned to an international roster, and electroNic decided to move on.

The downfall: Cloud9 and Virtus.pro
In Cloud9, Denis tried his hand at in-game leading for the first time — a bold but risky move. The experiment didn’t succeed. After sh1ro’s departure, the team never found consistency, and their results plummeted to the lowest point since the Gambit era.
electroNic’s average rating dropped to 0.99, an alarming figure for a player who once ranked among the world’s elite.
In mid-2024, he joined Virtus.pro, hoping to rediscover form under Jame’s leadership. However, the chemistry wasn’t there — Jame’s slow, save-heavy playstyle clashed with electroNic’s natural aggression. After Jame’s exit at the start of 2025, Denis took over the captain’s role himself, but things only got worse. By August, he was benched, and it seemed like the two-time ESL Cologne champion’s career was nearing its end. Then came the call from BC.Game.
BC.Game: a new power or a PR storm?
BC.Game’s esports division has become one of the loudest stories of 2025. Initially perceived as a “marketing gimmick” — a mix of memes, teasers, and bold social media stunts — the organization quickly proved it meant business.
After signing s1mple in September and now electroNic, BC.Game have shown they’re not just playing around. Their signature line, “Calm down everyone, we are still cooking,” has already become a meme but also a statement of intent. When a fan asked, “Is this bait or real?”, the official BC.Game account simply replied:
I think it’s real.
BC.Game roster 2025
On paper, the new lineup looks stacked — a mix of experience, talent, and explosive personalities:
- Nemanja “nexa” Isaković – IGL and strategic core
- Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski – promising entry fragger
- Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev – superstar, three-time Player of the Year
- Andreas “aNdu” Maasing – rising Estonian talent
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov – versatile rifler
- Luka “emi” Vuković – head coach
- Bench: 🇳🇴 jkaem, 🇩🇪 pr1metapz — both could be loaned or transferred in the near future.
Community reaction

The Counter-Strike community exploded with reactions:
- @TitanHoloCS: “W, DREAM DUO IS BACK” — accompanied by a 2019 Katowice photo of s1mple and electroNic.
- @PogPredict: “s1mple, electronic and nexa. Unreal trio.”
- @1xBet_Esports: “THEY’RE SO BACK.”
s1mpleO: simply wrote, Time to shine, friend.
Meanwhile, analyst smooya reassured fans on Telegram’s CS2NEWS channel that communication wouldn’t be an issue:
electroNic actually has really solid English — that surprised me. He even understands everything perfectly.
That comment helped ease concerns about the international nature of BC.Game’s lineup, which now includes players from four different countries.
From skepticism to hope
Not everyone welcomed the move enthusiastically. Some fans argued that BC.Game are relying too heavily on big names without establishing a strong foundation:
Wow, they just picked electronic? The guy who failed Cloud9 and VP. What a joke.
Others embraced the nostalgia and potential:
Thanks to all the gambling addicts making this possible. Totally worth it.
The storyline has already been dubbed a “Redemption Arc” — a chance for electroNic to recover after two rough years, and for s1mple to prove he still belongs at the top.

The road ahead
The signing of electroNic isn’t just hype — it’s a statement of ambition. If this roster clicks, BC.Game could become the dark horse of 2026, capable of shaking up the current hierarchy dominated by Vitality, FaZe, MOUZ, and Spirit.
But beyond titles and rankings, one thing matters most to fans — s1mple and electroNic are back, side by side, ready to write a new chapter in CS2.
