Recap of Day 2 at BLAST Bounty Season 2: Convincing Wins and Surprises

On the second day of BLAST Bounty Season 2, fans witnessed intense matchups and unexpected twists. NAVI prevailed over their fellow Ukrainians from TNL, Passion UA managed to take a map off the IEM Cologne champions Team Spirit, while Virtus.pro pulled off a comeback against MIBR. At the same time, Astralis showed total dominance over Rare Atom. The top performers of the day impressed with individual brilliance — from electroNic and sh1ro to newcomer makazze.

MIBR vs Virtus.pro

Virtus.pro secured a confident 2:0 victory over MIBR (Train 13:8, Overpass 22:19), though the second map was far from easy. MIBR ended the first half of Overpass with a strong 10:2 lead, but VP pulled off a massive comeback on the T side and clinched the map in overtime. The best player of the match was electroNic with 55 kills, while FL1T also stood out with a 90.7 ADR and 1.34 rating.

TNL vs NAVI

In a clash between two Ukrainian squads, NAVI edged out TNL 2:1 (Ancient 14:16, Nuke 13:5, Mirage 13:9). Despite the loss, TNL put up a strong fight and even took the first map from the favorites. The standout player of the match was makazze, a recent addition to NAVI, who finished with 60 kills, 89.9 ADR, and a 1.36 rating.

Passion UA vs Team Spirit

Passion UA managed to take a map off IEM Cologne 2025 champions Team Spirit but ultimately fell 1:2 (Dust2 13:10, Mirage 3:13, Ancient 4:13). The Ukrainians delivered a surprise win on Dust2, but Spirit bounced back confidently on the following maps. The MVP of the series was sh1ro, who delivered an outstanding performance: 56 kills, 101.4 ADR, and a 1.61 rating.

Astralis vs Rare Atom

Astralis left no chances for Rare Atom, dominating the series 2:0 (Ancient 13:1, Overpass 13:6). The European powerhouse controlled the game throughout, with all players finishing with positive stats. Staehr led with 34 kills, stavn posted an impressive 112.5 ADR, and jabbi earned the MVP honors with a 1.74 rating.

Day 2 of BLAST Bounty Season 2 delivered both expected outcomes and major upsets — while some favorites lived up to expectations, others struggled against ambitious underdogs. At the same time, the individual performances of players like makazze, sh1ro, and electroNic showcased the high level of competition at the tournament.
