Former HellRaisers and FlipSid3 player, Ukrainian esports pro Vladyslav “bondik” Nechyporchuk, has become the author of one of the loudest CS2 stories of the week: his StatTrak AK-47 Redline has reached the limit of 999,999 kills — the maximum value the game can display. After that, the in-game counter resets to zero, although the real kill count continues growing in the inventory. bondik’s post instantly went viral, collecting over 249,000 views and turning Twitter into a wave of memes, jokes, and nostalgic comments.
“DAY 1.” — bondik officially launches a campaign to expand the StatTrak limit
In his tweet, bondik addressed Valve directly:
Hi @CounterStrike!
Reached the StatTrak limit of 999,999 kills — feels like we’re running out of digits.
Any chance of expanding the counter? My Redline still has work to do!DAY 1. pic.twitter.com/lD9LiXkUUE

With this he jokingly kicked off a “campaign” urging the developers to raise the StatTrak kill limit — at least to seven digits. His screenshot of the Redline (which he has been using since 2014) instantly spread across social media.

12 years loyal to one skin: “no way bro… dedication!”
In the comments, bondik confirmed:
- he has been using this exact AK-47 Redline for over 10 years;
- most of the kills were made on warmup servers, something even the official WarmupServer account joked about;
- he also owns a rarer StatTrak Fire Serpent, but still prefers to play with his Redline.
His short reply to a suggestion that it’s “time to retire it” became a meme:
no way bro… dedication!
Indeed, keeping the same StatTrak skin for more than a decade is almost unheard of in the CS community, where most players change their inventories several times a year.
The community in shock: jokes, memes, and questions about his personal life
After the tweet went viral, the replies filled with humor:
- “Get a girlfriend now” → bondik: “On my way”
- “At that point just retire it” → bondik: “no way bro… dedication!”
- “Badass you run that same skin for 12 years” → bondik: “usually – yes! #DEDICATION”
Players also asked if he had similar long-term records with other weapons. bondik said he usually sticks to the same StatTrak skins for years.
Technical side: what happens after 1,000,000 kills?

One user pointed out:
- the counter resets only in-game,
- but the inventory still shows the real number, which can exceed one million.
bondik replied:
Yes, bro, I know it
So the actual kill count has already surpassed one million — it’s just visible only in the inventory menu.
Will Valve respond?
At the time of publication, Valve has not issued any official comment. However, this is not the first time the community has asked for:
- increasing the StatTrak limit,
- making the kill display dynamic,
- adding a prestige system or “second cycle.”
bondik’s post has reignited the discussion — and for the first time in years, the StatTrak limit is trending again.

The most legendary Redline in history
For more than a decade, the AK-47 Redline has become not just a skin for bondik, but a part of his career. It has survived:
- the CS:GO era,
- the transition to CS2,
- thousands of matches,
- dozens of patches,
- and now a million kills.
This unwavering loyalty is what made the post so viral: at a time when inventories change weekly, bondik has showcased one of the rarest phenomena in CS — a skin that lived through an entire era together with its player.
