Eternal Fire has moved Alexander “br0” Bro to the bench after only eight matches with the team. The Danish player joined the organisation on July 5 but has now left the active lineup.
The change is notable because br0 arrived with strong experience and solid previous results. However, he was unable to find his form during his short time with Eternal Fire.
br0 Joined From NRG in July
br0 joined Eternal Fire from NRG on July 5. NRG had benched him in June following the team’s elimination in the first stage of the IEM Cologne Major.
Before moving to Eternal Fire, br0 recorded close-to-average ratings with Monte and Astralis. He posted a 1.02 rating during his time with Monte and a 1.01 rating with Astralis.
Meanwhile, his 18-month period with NRG was more productive. The Dane achieved a 1.13 rating during that stint.
Eight Matches and Three Events
Eternal Fire played eight matches with br0 in the lineup. Their run began at European Pro League Series 8, where the team won the tournament.
However, the following events brought less success. Eternal Fire finished in 9th-16th place at NODWIN Clutch Series 10.
The team also failed to qualify through the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier. Their campaign ended with a loss to BIG.
Across 21 maps for Eternal Fire, br0 recorded a 0.93 rating. As a result, the organisation has decided to remove him from the active roster.
