Faceit has shared new results from its Human Input Detection system. The tool has analyzed 6.3 million hours of gameplay so far. As a result, the Anti-Cheat team has banned 70% more cheaters in Season 9 than in the same period of Season 8.

These numbers are interesting because of how quickly the system has grown. In June, the tool had analyzed only 144,000 hours during testing. Now the total is far higher, and the ban numbers have risen with it.

From Small Tests to Large-Scale Checks

Faceit published the data as part of its Integrity Update. The chart in the announcement shows how the amount of analyzed gameplay changed over several months. In May, Human Input Detection analyzed 48,000 hours of gameplay. In June, that figure rose to 144,000 hours. Both months are marked as part of the test period.

Meanwhile, Season 9 launched on August 5. This date is important because the biggest growth came around and after the season start.

The Numbers Behind the Update

According to the chart, the system analyzed 2.7 million hours of gameplay in August, which was still part of the test period. In September, the figure reached 5.2 million hours. The chart marks September as the effective period.

In total, Faceit says the system has analyzed 6.3 million hours of gameplay so far. However, the most important result is the effect on bans. Since Season 9 began, the Anti-Cheat team has banned 70% more cheaters than in the same period of Season 8. In other words, the larger scale of analysis has led to a clear increase in enforcement.

Why This Update Matters

The update shows a clear path from testing to real results. Human Input Detection went from 48,000 hours in May to 6.3 million hours of analyzed gameplay. Therefore, it now plays a much bigger role in Faceit’s anti-cheat work.

For players, the main takeaway is simple. More cheaters are being banned in Season 9 than in the same period of Season 8. As Faceit continues its integrity efforts, the results of this system will be worth watching.
