Meanwhile, SINNERS became the first team eliminated from the event with an 0-3 record.
Road through the Swiss Stage

FaZe began the tournament with back-to-back defeats against TYLOO (8-13) and MIBR (6-13), dropping into the 0-2 elimination bracket. Their convincing victory over SINNERS improves their record to 1-2, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
SINNERS opened the event with a 4-13 loss to BetBoom before falling 5-13 to 9z in Round 2. The defeat against FaZe leaves the Czech side with an 0-3 record, eliminating them from XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026.

FaZe survive elimination as SINNERS bow out
After opening the tournament with losses to TYLOO and MIBR, FaZe entered the series with no room for error. The team responded with one of its strongest performances of the event, controlling both maps from start to finish. The victory keeps FaZe alive in Guangzhou, while SINNERS’ campaign comes to an end after three consecutive defeats.
FaZe dominate on both maps

The series began on Mirage, SINNERS’ map pick, but FaZe quickly took control and closed out the opener with a comfortable 13-7 victory.
On Ancient, FaZe were even more dominant. The international squad completely shut down SINNERS, allowing just two rounds before sealing a commanding 13-2 win and the series 2-0.
David “frozen” Čerňanský was the standout performer, finishing the series with a 43-16 K-D, 119.3 ADR, and an outstanding 1.95 rating. Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen also impressed with a 1.61 rating, while Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken added a 1.52 rating.
For SINNERS, only MoDo finished above a 1.00 rating at 1.17, while the rest of the Czech roster struggled to keep pace throughout the series.
Best player of the match

David “frozen” Čerňanský earned Player of the Match honors after leading FaZe on both maps. The Slovak rifler consistently found opening kills and finished with a remarkable 43-16 K-D, 119.3 ADR, and a 1.95 rating.
VRS impact
The result also affected the teams’ positions in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS). FaZe gained 29 VRS points, climbing from 26th to 24th, while SINNERS lost 7 points but remained 50th in the rankings. The victory strengthens FaZe’s position in the race for future invitations, whereas SINNERS leave Guangzhou without improving their standing.
