The organizers of FISSURE Playground 3 have officially formed an almost complete list of participants for the tournament with a $1,000,000 prize pool. Seven more invited rosters have joined the already known eight teams, so now only one vacant slot remains, which will be decided through the Asian qualifier. As a result, the outline of the September event has become almost fully clear, and the tournament itself has received a very packed and diverse lineup.

Initial list of participants

In the first wave, the organizers confirmed the participation of Legacy, BetBoom, PARIVISION, FaZe, The MongolZ, MIBR, Alliance, and TYLOO. This lineup already looked strong enough, as it brought together both teams with solid positions on the international scene and rosters capable of creating problems for favorites through an aggressive style and unconventional preparation.

It is especially interesting that this initial pool immediately gave the tournament a broad geographical scale. There are representatives of Europe, South America, Asia, and the CIS region, which means that FISSURE Playground 3 was built from the beginning not as a local event, but as a major international tournament with different styles and approaches to the game.

Seven more teams were added to the tournament

Now the organizers have also confirmed the second part of the invites. FURIA, 9z, FUT, G2, Astralis, BIG, and GamerLegion have officially joined the list of participants. This wave essentially settled the question of the tournament’s main core, because it added even more well-known tags and even more competition at almost every seeding level.

These invitations significantly raised the overall density of the lineup. If earlier it was possible to speak simply about a strong international tournament, now it is already an event where almost every potential early-stage pairing can become a high-profile match. The presence of G2, Astralis, BIG, GamerLegion, and FURIA makes the bracket much deeper and more dangerous even for teams arriving as favorites.

Why this lineup looks so interesting

One of the main reasons is the combination of teams with different profiles. There are both big brands with extensive tournament experience and rosters that are currently trying to establish themselves among stable contenders for high placements. This is usually exactly the kind of mix that creates the most interesting tournaments, when favorites do not have comfortable paths and every round can produce an unexpected storyline.

The regional balance is also worth noting separately. The European scene is very widely represented, but at the same time the tournament is not limited only to it. Teams such as The MongolZ, TYLOO, MIBR, FURIA, and 9z add important international context, which means FISSURE Playground 3 can become not just another strong championship, but a platform for directly comparing the current strength of different regions.

The final spot will be decided by the qualifier

After the announcement of 15 participants, only one slot remains open. It will be decided through the Asian qualifier, which logically fits into the overall concept of the tournament. This gives regional teams an additional chance to make it to a major international event not through a direct invite, but through sporting qualification.

This approach also adds intrigue to the final stage of forming the lineup. Against the background of the already confirmed participants, any qualifier that enters the bracket last will automatically become a potentially uncomfortable opponent for seeded teams. And it is exactly these final slots that very often create unexpected stories at tournaments even before the playoffs begin.

Almost complete FPG 3 lineup

At the moment, FISSURE Playground 3 already has 15 confirmed participants: Legacy, BetBoom, PARIVISION, FaZe, The MongolZ, MIBR, Alliance, TYLOO, FURIA, 9z, FUT, G2, Astralis, BIG, and GamerLegion. The last, sixteenth position will go to the winner of the Asian qualifier, after which the tournament lineup will be finalized.

In the end, FISSURE Playground 3 looks like one of the most interesting tournaments of this part of the season. The combination of a large prize pool, a strong international lineup, and the near absence of easy opponents makes this event very promising even before it starts. And now the main question is no longer who will attend, but which team from this lineup will be able to make the best use of such intense competition.
