Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev is back playing alongside a familiar captain. He has rejoined Dzhami “Jame” Ali and Dastan “dastan” Akbayev on PARIVISION, a squad that also includes three younger players. This reunion brings an interesting question to the table: how has Jame changed as a leader since their days together?

FL1T’s comments give fans a rare look inside the team’s dynamic. In addition, they highlight how much has changed since he last played under Jame’s captaincy. As a result, the interview offers a clear picture of both the team’s structure and its internal chemistry.

A Shared History at Virtus.pro

Before PARIVISION, FL1T and Jame played together at Virtus.pro. During that time, Jame built a reputation as a Major-winning captain. Therefore, their past success sets clear expectations for this new chapter. Meanwhile, dastan also joins the roster as a familiar face from that earlier era.

This shared background gives FL1T a unique perspective. Few players get the chance to work under the same captain twice, at different points in that captain’s career. For this reason, his comparison between the two eras carries extra weight.

What Has Changed Since Then

Asked how Jame’s leadership differs from their Virtus.pro days, FL1T said:

There are differences because the game’s meta keeps changing. There are some interesting fresh new ideas and fresh new tricks. He’s still growing as a captain, as a leader, and he’s had new young players. You can feel that he’s refreshed. He’s more controlling of the young players in certain areas. His ideas are even stronger and more thought out than they used to be.

This description points to a captain who has adapted alongside the game itself. However, it also suggests that working with younger players has pushed Jame to refine his approach even further.

FL1T’s Role Has Shifted Too

Describing the difference between his PARIVISION and Virtus.pro roles, he said:

It’s different in that we already have three young players. [Then] there’s me, Jame, dastan, and in some sense I’m probably now less focused on myself. I have to be more focused on the team, helping the team, helping the young players. Overall, in terms of the role, if we’re talking about me specifically, it’s basically all the same. I just need to get kills, help the young players, and help with mid-round and end-of-round calls.

This shift shows how FL1T’s priorities have evolved with the roster. Instead of focusing solely on his own performance, he now balances individual play with a mentorship role. Meanwhile, his in-game duties, such as calling rounds, remain unchanged.

Why This Matters

This reunion places two Major-winning veterans back in charge of a younger PARIVISION lineup. Their renewed partnership, paired with FL1T’s shift toward a mentorship role, could shape how the team performs at FISSURE Playground 3. As the tournament approaches, fans will be watching to see whether this blend of experience and youth pays off.

FL1T shared his thoughts with HLTV ahead of FISSURE Playground 3, offering a timely look at PARIVISION’s mindset heading into the event. Finally, his comments suggest that the team is building its identity around both experienced leadership and the steady development of its younger players.
