A recent trophy has not made FURIA the main favorites for the next major tournament. After winning Thunderpick World Championship 2026, the Brazilians head to PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, but according to bookmakers’ estimates, they remain only fourth in the race for the championship.

However, this result was not enough for bookmakers to place the Brazilians among the three main contenders for the next trophy. FURIA’s championship probability is estimated at just 11.22%, leaving the team in fourth place.
Vitality have the highest chances
According to the listed odds, Vitality are the main favorites to win PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Their chances of victory are estimated at 24.54%, almost twice as high as those of the reigning Thunderpick World Championship champions.
Spirit follow Vitality with 22.44%, while MOUZ are third with 19.63%. These three teams currently form a separate group of favorites, while FURIA trail noticeably behind them in the estimated chances of winning the title.
Aurora and Legacy remain close behind
Aurora follow FURIA, with bookmakers giving them an 8.72% chance of winning the championship. Legacy have been assigned 7.13%, meaning the gap between fourth and sixth place is significantly smaller than the difference between FURIA and the leading trio.
Further down the list are FUT with 3.92% and NAVI with 3.14%. The remaining participants have even lower chances of victory, so current estimates suggest that the title race will primarily revolve around several teams near the top of the list.
FURIA’s trophy has not yet convinced bookmakers
The most interesting aspect of these estimates is FURIA’s position. The team has just completed a championship run at Thunderpick World Championship, defeating Aurora and BETBOOM in the playoffs, but even such strong form was not enough to move them above fourth place among the favorites.
This creates an unusual situation for the Brazilians: they arrive in Bucharest as winners of the previous major tournament, but without being considered one of the three leading title contenders. That is why their performance will be a good test of whether the victory in Malta marked the beginning of a new period of consistent results.
The favorites will start from scratch in Bucharest
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 begins on October 24, with Vitality, Spirit, MOUZ, FURIA, Aurora, Legacy, FUT, and other strong teams among the participants. The tournament will begin with a Swiss Stage, after which the best teams will continue their campaigns in the playoffs.
On paper, Vitality, Spirit, and MOUZ currently hold the advantage, but FURIA have already shown that they can defy expectations. Following their Thunderpick World Championship title, the main question is whether the Brazilians can carry that form into Bucharest and once again force bookmakers to revise their assessments.
