The Canadian organization Gaimin Gladiators has officially announced its return to Counter-Strike. After a seven-month break, the club has signed a promising Brazilian roster that will begin a new chapter under the new tag in the coming days.
WHY THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP FOR THE ORGANIZATION
Gaimin Gladiators were last represented in CS at the beginning of the year, but due to a lack of consistent results and difficulties in supporting the roster, they were forced to leave the scene. Their return with an all-Brazilian lineup signals the club’s long-term strategy — betting on a region that is rapidly developing and has a strong fan base.

THE NEW ROSTER: MEET THE BRAZILIAN FIVE
The team is built around the experienced player Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato, known for his performances with paiN and Legacy. Alongside him, the roster includes:
- Jhonatan “JOTA” Willian
- Bruno “shz” Martinelli
- Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara
- Lucas “bsd” Luan
Coaching duties are handled by João “horvy” Horvath. The lineup had long competed under the W7M tag, but after the organization exited CS in May, they were left without support. Now, the team has found a new home and is ready to return to regular competition.
THE BRAZILIAN SCENE AND ITS CHALLENGES
In recent years, the Brazilian scene has been undergoing a renewal — alongside traditional leaders, young lineups are emerging that can compete internationally. With their new roster, Gaimin Gladiators currently hold 24th place in the Americas regional ranking, but the team’s potential is considered higher than the current numbers suggest.

DEBUT TOURNAMENT AND PLANS
The team’s first test will be FERJEE Rush — a LAN tournament in Brazil with a prize pool of over $27,000, taking place from September 27 to 30. There, the team will make their stage debut under the Gaimin Gladiators tag. For the club, this tournament will be a test of cohesion, and for the players — a chance to quickly prove that their signing was the right decision.
EXPECTATIONS FOR THE BRAZILIAN ROSTER
This roster is not expected to deliver immediate victories at top-tier events, but consistent results at local tournaments and gradual climbs in the rankings could open doors to larger competitions. If Gaimin Gladiators can provide financial and infrastructural stability, and if NEKIZ and JOTA maintain their form, the team could compete for international championship slots as early as 2026.
