WBT have officially unveiled their new main CS2 roster, with Sergiy “DemQQ” Demchenko joining the lineup and Mykhailo “kane” Blagin taking over as coach. In an official post on X, WBT presented a five-player lineup built around the core that recently competed under the Jam tag.
The organization also confirmed that the players who previously represented WBT will continue under the WBT Academy name, with the project now focused on development and tournament experience.
DemQQ joins the former Jam core
DemQQ takes the entry role in the new lineup. The 25-year-old has been without a team since leaving Eternal Fire on July 1, ending a six-month spell that began in January 2026.
He joins Alexandr “Psycho” Zlobin, Kyrylo “s4ltovsk1yy” Lytvynov, Oleksandr “Smash” Turchyn and Maksym “tyr1k” Tur. WBT also revealed specific roles for every player, with Psycho serving as IGL, s4ltovsk1yy on the AWP, Smash as lurker and tyr1k in the support role.
The addition of DemQQ is the main change from the Jam lineup that competed throughout August. Zahar “Polbandana” Siledchyk previously occupied the fifth spot alongside the four-player core.
kane takes charge after the Tipsport Open Cup victory
kane will coach the new WBT roster after already working with the core during its recent run as Jam. The lineup finished first at Tipsport Open Cup 1 in Prague after beating UNiTY 2:1 in the grand final.
Jam dropped Ancient 7:13 in the final before recovering with a 13:11 victory on Dust2 and closing Anubis 13:6. s4ltovsk1yy finished the series with a 1.18 Rating 3.0, while Smash posted a 1.17 rating.
WBT highlighted that tournament victory in the roster announcement and listed the new lineup at #58 in the Valve Ranking.

WBT described the announcement as the next step in the development of its CS2 division. The previous lineup will now continue as WBT Academy rather than being removed from the organization.
WBT continue their ESL Challenger League run
The new WBT lineup is already active in ESL Challenger League Season 52 Europe Cup 5. WBT reached the semi-final after victories over BERG, Permitta and BAKS and are scheduled to face Virtus.pro on September 1.
A victory would send WBT into the grand final of the $7,000 online event later the same day.
