Legacy are preparing another roster change toward the end of the season. According to Brazilian media reports, 21-year-old Italo “ksloks” Meinberg will replace Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira in the starting lineup and represent the team at least until the end of 2026.
Legacy make a roster change after a series of disappointing tournaments
The decision comes amid a noticeable decline in Legacy’s results. The team exited their last three tournaments in the group stage, despite having shown much greater consistency earlier in the season and even winning the FISSURE Playground 3 title.
The exact reason behind this decision remains unknown. The change has not yet been presented as a long-term rebuild: ksloks is expected to play for Legacy at the final three tournaments of the year, after which the organization will be able to decide on its roster for the next season.
n1ssim is benched for the second time this year
For n1ssim, this is already his second time being moved to the bench in 2026. Earlier, Legacy temporarily removed him from the lineup while the organization was attempting to negotiate the transfer of Felipe “insani” Yuji.
That deal ultimately fell through, and n1ssim returned to the starting five. He subsequently helped Legacy win FISSURE Playground 3, making the new decision particularly notable given how successful his previous comeback had been.
Legacy’s results declined after winning the title
The turning point for the team came after their victory at FISSURE Playground 3. arT was forced to miss ESL Pro League due to meningitis, after which Legacy were unable to maintain the level of performance they had previously demonstrated.
Three consecutive group-stage exits have put additional pressure on the team ahead of the final part of the season. Despite this, Legacy remain a top-10 team, meaning even a short-term replacement could affect their ranking position and results at the final tournaments of 2026.
An opportunity for ksloks
ksloks has recently been a free agent following his departure from ODDIK. The 21-year-old player had previously appeared regularly on lists of promising talents and had already been registered by Legacy as a substitute in case arT was unable to participate in upcoming matches.
Now the Brazilian is expected to receive a full opportunity in the starting lineup. For ksloks himself, this is a chance to immediately join one of the highest-level teams in his region and spend the final stretch of the season competing against significantly stronger opponents.
What Legacy’s roster will look like
According to the available information, Legacy’s starting five will consist of arT, dumau, latto, try, and ksloks. adrrr will remain the team’s coach, while n1ssim will move to the bench.
Thus, Legacy are not undertaking a major rebuild but replacing just one player ahead of the final three tournaments of the year. The main question now is whether the arrival of ksloks will help stop the team’s decline and restore the form that previously allowed them to win FISSURE Playground 3.
