FUT will not compete at FISSURE Playground 3 due to visa issues, with magic taking their place at the tournament. FISSURE confirmed the change in an official post, adding that the groups will be redrawn and the opening matches reorganized following the replacement.
FUT also addressed the situation on X, saying they were unable to attend the event because of visa problems and wished magic luck in their place.

Visa issues force FUT to withdraw
FUT had been included among the 16 participants for the LAN in Suzhou, China, but will now miss the event entirely.
The collective did not provide additional details about which visas could not be secured or which members of the roster were affected. FISSURE only confirmed that the withdrawal was caused by visa issues.
The change also means the previously announced group draw will no longer be used. FUT were originally set to open the tournament against The MongolZ, but FISSURE said new groups and matchups will be announced following the roster update.
magic receive another tier-one opportunity
magic enter the tournament as the replacement after an impressive rise during 2026. The collective currently sit 23rd in the global VRS with 1,460 points, while FUT are fifth with 1,833 points.
The current magic lineup consists of:

- Abdurakhim “mo0N” Issa
- Nikita “tenzy” Kochenyuk
magic have already appeared at several major LAN events this season. Their strongest international result came at PGL Astana 2026, where they finished fourth, while more recently they reached 9th–16th place at the Esports World Cup.
FUT recently eliminated magic at EWC
The replacement creates an unusual connection between the two collectives. FUT and magic faced each other less than two weeks ago in the Round of 16 at the Esports World Cup.
magic won Ancient 13:9 to take the lead in the series, but FUT responded with a 13:7 victory on Anubis and closed Mirage 13:8 to win the match 2:1.
FUT continued all the way to the grand final from there, eventually finishing second after a 1:3 defeat against Spirit. For magic, the loss ended their EWC run in 9th–16th place.
FISSURE Playground 3 begins on September 8
FISSURE Playground 3 will take place from September 8–13 in Suzhou, China, with 16 collectives competing at the SND Cultural & Sports Centre.
The tournament features a $1 million total prize pool, with teams beginning in two double-elimination groups. Six collectives will advance to the single-elimination playoffs.
With magic replacing FUT, the final group composition and opening matchups are now expected to change. FISSURE has asked viewers to wait for a further update before the revised tournament schedule is confirmed.
