MIBR defeated NRG 2:0 in the Lower Bracket Semi-final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, eliminating the North American team from the tournament. MIBR recovered from a slow start on Cache to win 13:7 before completely dominating Inferno 13:2 and securing a place in the Lower Bracket Final.
MIBR TOOK COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE SERIES

NRG had the better start on Cache and entered halftime with a 7:5 advantage on their own map pick. That was the last round they won on the map.
MIBR completely shut down NRG after the side switch, winning eight consecutive rounds to turn the deficit into a convincing 13:7 victory.
Inferno was even more one-sided. MIBR built a 10:2 lead during the opening half and immediately won the first three rounds after the break, closing their own pick 13:2 and completing the sweep.
Nuke was left as the deciding map but was not needed.

Tomas “tomaszin” Corna recorded 31–17 K–D and a 1.45 rating, while Felipe “insani” Yuji led the server with 33 kills and finished at 1.43. Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo and Lucas “nqz” Soares completed the strong team performance with ratings of 1.21 and 1.18 respectively.
No NRG player finished with a positive K–D or a rating above 1.00. Jeorge “Jeorge” Endicott was their highest-rated player at 0.89.

MIBR strengthened their position at #13 in the VRS ranking with another elimination-match victory. NRG lost five points and dropped two positions to #40.
