Road through the Swiss stage
MOUZ entered the match after a narrow 2-1 victory over Gentle Mates in the opening round, while G2 had comfortably defeated Fisher College 2-0. The win now pushes MOUZ into the 2-0 bracket, placing them one victory away from playoff qualification.
Gentle Mates, meanwhile, bounced back after losing 1-2 to MOUZ in their opening match. K27 had already suffered a heavy 0-2 loss against Falcons on day one, making this series a must-win situation for both sides.

MOUZ edge out G2 in three-map battle

MOUZ secured one of the most important victories of their recent campaign by defeating G2 2-1. The series started on Dust2, where G2 barely survived a chaotic opener and stole the map 16-14 after multiple late-round clutches and overtime pressure.
However, MOUZ responded immediately on Mirage. Led by xertioN and torzsi, the European side controlled the pace throughout the map and punished G2’s defensive rotations to secure a convincing 13-10 victory.
Inferno became the decider, and MOUZ looked significantly more composed in the crucial moments. Strong CT setups and aggressive banana control repeatedly shut down G2’s executes, allowing MOUZ to close the series with a 13-7 win.

xertioN leads MOUZ recovery

Dorian “xertioN” Berman became the standout player of the match with a 1.29 rating and 95.7 ADR across all three maps. torzsi also delivered a huge performance with 61 kills and several key AWP rounds during the final map.
For G2, NertZ and MATYS tried to keep the team alive statistically, but huNter- struggled heavily throughout the series, finishing with a 0.68 rating.
Gentle Mates survive upset scare against K27

In the lower Swiss bracket, Gentle Mates managed to avoid elimination with a difficult 2-1 victory over K27.
The Spanish-French roster started strongly on Nuke, taking their own map pick 13-9 behind a solid showing from mopoz. But K27 answered on Overpass, where fame and xeedo helped the CIS lineup dominate key mid-round fights and force a decider after a 13-9 win.
Ancient turned into a tense final map. K27 stayed competitive for most of the game, but Gentle Mates looked more experienced in late-round situations and eventually closed the map 13-10 to secure the series.

mopoz delivers in key moments

Alejandro “mopoz” Fernández-Quejo Cano finished as the highest-rated player of the match with a 1.25 rating and 57 kills across three maps. fame was the best performer for K27 with a 1.24 rating despite the loss.
For K27, the defeat puts them at a dangerous 0-2 record, meaning one more loss would eliminate them from the tournament.
