MOUZ have secured their place in the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs after defeating PARIVISION 2-0 in the Group C lower-bracket semifinal. The European side dominated Dust2 13-4 before closing Inferno 13-10. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi led the way with a 1.51 rating, while Dorian “xertioN” Berman and Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás also produced strong performances. The result sends MOUZ into the playoffs and eliminates PARIVISION from the tournament.

MOUZ recover from their loss to FUT

MOUZ began their Esports World Cup campaign with a 13-8 victory over Lynn Vision on Dust2. That result sent them into the upper bracket, where they faced FUT for a direct playoff spot. The European squad lost that series 1-2 after a close three-map battle. MOUZ recovered from a 6-13 loss on Ancient by taking Nuke 16-12 in overtime, but FUT won the Mirage decider 13-11.

PARIVISION had taken a different route through the group. They lost their opening match against B8 11-13 before responding with a dominant 2-0 victory over 100 Thieves. That set up an elimination series against MOUZ with a playoff place at stake. This time, MOUZ left little room for another upset and secured their ticket in two maps.

The series started on Dust2, PARIVISION’s map pick, but MOUZ immediately took control. They raced to a commanding 9-3 halftime advantage and continued to dictate the game after the break.

PARIVISION managed only one additional round in the second half. MOUZ quickly completed the 13-4 victory to move within one map of the playoffs.

Inferno was much more competitive. MOUZ produced another excellent opening half and built a huge 10-2 lead. PARIVISION finally found their rhythm after switching sides and began to cut into the deficit.

Jame and company won eight rounds in the second half, but the comeback came too late. MOUZ found the three rounds they needed and closed Inferno 13-10 to complete the 2-0 sweep.

MOUZ narrow the head-to-head gap

The victory also gives MOUZ some revenge in a matchup that had previously favored PARIVISION. Before this series, the teams had met five times, with PARIVISION holding a 3-2 advantage. Their most recent meetings came at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. PARIVISION won one series 2-0, taking Dust2 13-11 and Inferno 13-10. MOUZ had also recorded a 2-1 victory at the same event. With their latest win, MOUZ have now levelled the overall series record at 3-3.
