Ninjas in Pyjamas continue rebuilding their roster after an unstable first half of 2026. The club loaned Karim “Krimbo” Moussa from BIG, who will not only take the vacant spot in the main five, but also become the team’s new in-game leader after Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer was moved to the bench.
Krimbo returns to full-time play
For Krimbo, this transfer means a return to stable competitive practice after almost a year outside the main roster. BIG moved the German rifler to the bench back in October 2025, and since then he has barely played on the professional scene.
The only notable exception was IEM Kraków 2026 Stage 1, where Krimbo played three matches as a stand-in for Liquid. Symbolically, during that short stretch, he managed to defeat NIP — the team he is now joining on loan.
He will replace Snappi in NIP
The main change is not only the transfer itself. Krimbo will receive the IGL role and effectively has to take over Snappi’s functions, after NIP recently moved him to the bench.
This makes the transfer much more important than a regular replacement of one rifler with another. NIP are simultaneously changing the person who will be responsible for the game structure, communication, and decisions inside rounds, so the entire next stage of the roster’s development will largely depend on Krimbo’s adaptation.
BIG experience should help
Krimbo came through BIG’s academy system and joined the main team back in March 2022. He remained part of the roster until autumn 2025, finishing that period with an average rating of 1.10.
Together with BIG, the German also played at three Majors between 2022 and 2024, which gives NIP additional experience from major international tournaments. At the same time, the new role will be a separate challenge for him: now he will need not only to shoot consistently, but also to lead the team.
NIP continue their summer rebuild
Krimbo’s signing became NIP’s second major change since the start of the summer transfer period. Earlier, Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi moved to fnatic, while his place was temporarily taken by Roman “n0te” Hamze from the academy roster.
After Snappi was moved to the bench, the team effectively received another point for rebuilding. Now NIP have to combine the experience of sjuush and stavn with the younger xKacpersky and n0te, while Krimbo must become the player who connects this five into one game system.
NIP’s main problem is reaching tier-1 level
Throughout 2026, NIP have so far been unable to consistently establish themselves among the strongest teams. The roster mostly competed at second-tier tournaments, trying to improve its position in VRS, while at the biggest championships it often ended its run before the decisive stages.
That is why the IGL change looks like a logical attempt to restart the team. There is enough individual potential in the roster, but now Krimbo needs to turn it into a stable system capable of competing not only at tier-2 tournaments, but also against the best lineups.
New NIP roster
After Krimbo’s move, the Ninjas in Pyjamas roster is now formed by:

At the same time, the roster’s status still does not look final: Krimbo has joined only on loan, while n0te continues to play as a stand-in. Therefore, the upcoming tournaments will become for NIP not only a test of results, but also a test of whether this configuration can become the team’s foundation for a longer period.
Krimbo gets a chance to restart his career
For Krimbo himself, the move to NIP could become one of the most important stages of his career. After a long period on BIG’s bench, he immediately returns not just to a main roster, but receives a key role in building the game of an international team.
For NIP, the risk is also obvious: the new IGL has to quickly adapt to his teammates and at the same time regain his own form after a long pause. If it works, the club may get the needed impulse to return to tier-1 level, but the first matches of the new roster will show how quickly Krimbo can rebuild the team’s game.
