Vitality may finish BLAST Open Porto 2026 with a rather unusual individual achievement inside one roster. If Justinas “jL” Lekavicius becomes the MVP of the tournament, then already on Sunday, September 6, the team will have three players at once with at least three MVP awards in the CS2 era — together with Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Robin “ropz” Kool.
Everything depends on jL
It is jL who currently separates Vitality from this statistical mark. The Lithuanian has two MVP awards in his career, and both were earned already in CS2: at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and ESL Pro League Season 20. So one more individual award in Porto would become his third.
What makes the situation more interesting is that at BLAST Open Porto 2026, jL is actually playing for Vitality as a stand-in, temporarily replacing mezii. For ropz, the required mark has already been passed. In total, the Estonian has six MVP awards in his career, and three of them came specifically in the CS2 era: Thunderpick World Championship 2023, CS Asia Championships 2023, and BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026.
It is especially symbolic that ropz earned his third CS2 award already as a Vitality player. Therefore, for him, the potential result in Porto will not change the fact of entering this group, but it may make the team’s roster even more unusual in terms of the number of individually decorated players.
ZywOo has long been in another category
In ZywOo’s case, the number three looks only like a formal lower threshold. The Frenchman has long since moved far beyond it: back in early May, after BLAST Rivals Spring 2026, he received the 32nd MVP award of his career, and his fourth in 2026 alone.
That is exactly why the potential trio looks so unusual. Vitality would have not just three players with experience of winning MVPs, but ZywOo with a huge collection of awards, ropz with three MVPs in CS2, and jL, who could equal the Estonian in this metric already in Porto.
But they still need to get to Sunday
The main problem with this scenario is that Vitality have not yet even guaranteed themselves a place in the final. On Friday, the team will play against FURIA in the quarter-final of BLAST Open Porto 2026. The winner will advance to the semi-final, while the Grand Final is scheduled for Sunday, September 6.
For jL, this means that one good group stage is not enough. Vitality need to get past at least several strong opponents, while the Lithuanian himself has to maintain a high individual level in the decisive matches. Therefore, the third MVP award remains a scenario for now, not a guaranteed result.

Vitality have already gone through a difficult group stage in Porto and made it to the playoffs through the lower bracket. Now every next series not only brings the team closer to another trophy, but also increases jL’s chances of truly joining the fight for the tournament’s main individual award.
If the Lithuanian finishes this run with an MVP, then on September 6 Vitality will receive another interesting reason to enter CS2 statistics: ZywOo, ropz, and jL will represent the team at the same time while each having at least three MVP awards in the new version of the game.
