OG have officially benched Rafael “arrozdoce” Wing, ending the Portuguese player’s nine-month stint with the roster. The move comes only days before the team’s appearance at BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2 and creates fresh uncertainty around OG’s lineup heading into the tournament. In a social media post, OG thanked arrozdoce for his contribution during a difficult but memorable period for the organization.
These past 300 days together were filled with highs, but also tougher moments along the way. You will forever be part of the team that brought us our first trophy.
OG face roster uncertainty before home event
The timing of the move creates additional pressure for OG. The team will begin its BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2 campaign on May 21 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. OG will compete in a reduced four-team group alongside Betclic, Metizport, and Rebels after Passion UA withdrew from the event earlier this week. At the moment, the organization still has not revealed who will replace arrozdoce at the tournament. Reports suggest OG plan to announce their fifth player before Wednesday.

Another difficult season for OG

OG struggled to build consistency throughout 2026. The team briefly improved its position in the Valve Regional Standings after reaching the final of Roman Imperium Cup VI. However, several disappointing results quickly pushed the roster back down the rankings.
Poor performances at BC.Game Masters Championship qualifiers and Roman Imperium Cup VII eventually destroyed the team’s hopes of qualifying for the IEM Cologne Major. OG currently sit outside the top 70 in the VRS rankings.
arrozdoce still searching for stability
The benching also marks another setback for arrozdoce personally. The 23-year-old originally became one of Portugal’s most promising players during his breakout period with SAW in 2024. However, his following moves to Ninjas in Pyjamas and later OG failed to produce the same impact. During his time with OG in 2026, the Portuguese rifler recorded a 1.02 average rating while the team continued struggling against higher-tier opposition.
OG’s current lineup now includes:
- Olle “spooke” Grundström
- Adam “adamb” Ångström
- Casper “cadiaN” Møller
- Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro (loan from 3DMAX)
- Lambert “Lambert” Prigent (coach)
Meanwhile, arrozdoce remains on the bench while waiting for the next opportunity in his career.
