PGL MASTERS BUCHAREST 2026 — SEMIFINAL
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 features 16 teams competing for a $1,250,000 prize pool.
MOUZ finished the Swiss Stage with a 3-1 record. After losing their opener to Liquid, they recovered with victories over 9z, The MongolZ and Spirit. In the quarterfinal, MOUZ produced one of their cleanest performances of the event, beating Aurora 2:0 with scores of 13:6 on Mirage and 13:2 on Cache.
FURIA had a more difficult route through the Swiss Stage, finishing 3-2 after wins over DENDELE, TYLOO and Liquid and losses to NAVI and Spirit.
They then defeated BETBOOM 2:0 in the quarterfinal, winning Dust2 16:12 and Cache 13:7. YEKINDAR led the series with a 1.41 Rating 3.0, while KSCERATO finished at 1.37.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — MOUZ WON THE LAST TWO
This will be the fourth meeting between the teams in just six weeks.
FURIA won the first of those series 2:1 at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026:
- Cache — 13:8 FURIA
- Mirage — 19:16 MOUZ
- Nuke — 13:6 FURIA
MOUZ then responded with two consecutive 2:0 victories during ESL Pro League Season 24.
On October 4:
- Cache — 13:4 MOUZ
- Mirage — 13:7 MOUZ
Five days later in the quarterfinal:
- Nuke — 13:11 MOUZ
- Inferno — 13:6 MOUZ
The recent matchup therefore favors MOUZ. They have won four consecutive maps against FURIA and two straight series without requiring a decider.
CURRENT FORM
MOUZ have won four series in a row since their opening loss against Liquid.
Their victories over 9z and The MongolZ were both 2:0 before they recovered from a 2:13 opening-map loss to defeat Spirit 2:1. They followed that with another 2:0 against Aurora in the quarterfinal.
Spinx remains the most consistent MOUZ player over the last three months. He averages a 1.15 rating, 0.71 kills per round, 0.59 deaths per round, 76.5% KAST, a 1.04 multi-kill rating, +1.15% Round Swing and 78.4 ADR.
His quarterfinal performance was even stronger. Spinx finished the win over Aurora with 36–15 K–D, 104.0 ADR and a 1.71 Rating 3.0.

FURIA also arrive with momentum after three consecutive 2:0 victories over TYLOO, Liquid and BETBOOM.
KSCERATO has the better three-month individual numbers of the two featured stars, averaging a 1.21 rating, 0.73 kills per round, 0.59 deaths per round, 76.6% KAST, a 1.13 multi-kill rating, +1.70% Round Swing and 80.3 ADR.
The quarterfinal also showed that FURIA are not dependent on one player. YEKINDAR, KSCERATO and molodoy all finished above a 1.20 Rating 3.0 against BETBOOM.
MAP POOL & VETO
Win rate over the past three months (MOUZ | FURIA):
- Cache — 50% (8 maps) | 54% (13 maps)
- Dust2 — 64% (14 maps) | 57% (14 maps)
- Mirage — 82% (17 maps) | 59% (17 maps)
- Inferno — 75% (8 maps) | 82% (11 maps)
- Nuke — 69% (13 maps) | 57% (14 maps)
- Ancient — 33% (9 maps) | 50% (14 maps)
- Anubis — insufficient sample | insufficient sample
Expected veto:
- MOUZ should remove Anubis, which has remained their standard first ban.
- FURIA have a strong reason to remove Mirage. MOUZ hold an 82% win rate there and already beat FURIA 13:7 on the map earlier this month.
- FURIA can target Ancient, where they hold a 50% win rate compared with only 33% for MOUZ.
- MOUZ have strong options on Dust2 and Nuke, where they lead FURIA statistically.
Likely maps:
- Ancient — FURIA pick
- Dust2 — MOUZ pick
- Nuke or Cache — possible decider
FURIA need to avoid another veto that gives MOUZ comfortable access to Mirage while also finding a map where the recent head-to-head does not favor their opponent.
Ancient looks like their clearest opportunity. For MOUZ, Dust2 and Nuke both offer statistical advantages, while Cache remains relatively even.
KEY DUELS
- KSCERATO vs Spinx
KSCERATO leads Spinx in three-month rating, ADR, multi-kill rating and Round Swing. Spinx, however, comes into the semifinal after a 1.71-rated quarterfinal against Aurora. - YEKINDAR vs PR
Both riflers were crucial in the quarterfinals. YEKINDAR posted a 1.41 Rating 3.0 against BETBOOM, while PR finished the Aurora series at 1.50 and has repeatedly provided MOUZ with high-impact rounds. - molodoy vs torzsi
The AWP matchup could be especially important on Dust2 and Nuke. molodoy finished the BETBOOM series with a 1.22 rating, while torzsi remains one of the main pieces of the MOUZ structure.
PREDICTION
FURIA have strong arguments coming into the semifinal. They are on a three-match winning streak, KSCERATO remains in excellent form, and the team produced a convincing 2:0 quarterfinal against BETBOOM.
Their best route is likely to remove Mirage, attack Ancient and force MOUZ into a close third map.
However, the recent head-to-head is difficult to ignore. MOUZ have beaten FURIA 2:0 twice this month and have won the last four maps between the teams. They also hold clear statistical advantages on Mirage, Dust2 and Nuke, while their quarterfinal against Aurora showed strong form across the entire lineup.
FURIA should be more competitive than in the two ESL Pro League meetings, but the map pool and recent matchup still give MOUZ a slight edge.
Projected result: MOUZ 2–1 FURIA
