Nemiga and Vitality will meet on October 30 at 13:00 CET in the semifinal of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. The series will be played as a Bo3, with the winner advancing to the Grand Final.
Vitality enter the match as the clear favorite at #2 in the HLTV ranking and #1 in the VRS. Nemiga are #21 on HLTV and #14 in the VRS, but arrive in the semifinal on a three-match winning streak after eliminating FUT 2:0 in the quarterfinal.
PGL MASTERS BUCHAREST 2026 — SEMIFINAL
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 features 16 teams competing for a $1,250,000 prize pool.
Nemiga reached the playoffs with a 3-2 Swiss record after wins over Legacy, DENDELE and The MongolZ, alongside losses to BETBOOM and Aurora. They then produced one of the biggest playoff results so far by defeating FUT 2:0 in the quarterfinal.
Vitality finished the Swiss Stage at 3-1. They beat 9z, The MongolZ and NAVI, with their only loss coming against FUT. In the quarterfinal, Vitality recovered from losing Cache to defeat NAVI 2:1.
Vitality are also playing the tournament with jL standing in for apEX.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — FIRST MEETING BETWEEN THE CURRENT LINEUPS
Nemiga and Vitality have not faced each other with their current lineups.
That leaves little direct matchup history to work with, making the map veto and individual level more important than previous results between the teams.
Vitality have the significant ranking advantage, but Nemiga enter the semifinal with momentum after three consecutive 2:0 victories over DENDELE, The MongolZ and FUT.
CURRENT FORM
Nemiga have recovered well from the middle of their Swiss run. After back-to-back 0:2 defeats against BETBOOM and Aurora, they won three consecutive elimination or playoff series without dropping a map.
Their best-rated player over the last three months is KaiR0N-. He holds a 1.17 rating, 0.77 kills per round, 0.71 deaths per round, 72.4% KAST, a 1.22 multi-kill rating, +1.20% Round Swing and 82.2 ADR.
At this event, however, syph0 has been Nemiga’s highest-rated player at 1.23. KaiR0N- follows at 1.12, while khaN sits at 1.08.

Vitality have won four of their last five series, with FUT responsible for their only defeat during that stretch. They responded by beating NAVI twice, including a 2:1 quarterfinal victory where they came back after losing the opening map.
ZywOo remains the main difference-maker. Over the past three months, he averages a 1.38 rating, 0.85 kills per round, 0.58 deaths per round, 76.9% KAST, a 1.34 multi-kill rating, +3.97% Round Swing and 88.0 ADR.
He has been even better at PGL Masters Bucharest with a 1.39 event rating. flameZ, ropz and mezii are all above 1.10 as well, giving Vitality considerably more individual firepower across the lineup.
MAP POOL & VETO
Win rate over the past three months (Nemiga | Vitality):
- Cache — 71% (17 maps) | 82% (11 maps)
- Dust2 — 67% (21 maps) | 82% (17 maps)
- Mirage — 68% (19 maps) | 77% (13 maps)
- Inferno — limited sample | 75% (8 maps)
- Nuke — 72% (18 maps) | 57% (7 maps)
- Ancient — 68% (25 maps) | no current sample
- Anubis — 71% (17 maps) | 40% (10 maps)
Expected veto:
- Nemiga are highly likely to remove Inferno. It has been their most common ban, while Vitality hold a 75% win rate there.
- Vitality should remove Ancient, which they have consistently avoided with the current lineup.
- Nemiga have a strong reason to pick Anubis. They have a 71% win rate across 17 maps, compared with only 40% for Vitality.
- Vitality are likely to lean toward Dust2, where they have won 82% of 17 maps.
Likely maps:
- Anubis — Nemiga pick
- Dust2 — Vitality pick
- Cache — possible decider
The veto gives Nemiga a realistic route to one map. Anubis is by far the clearest weakness in the current Vitality map pool, while Nuke could also favor Nemiga if it remains available.
Vitality, however, have a large advantage on Dust2 and also hold strong numbers on Cache and Mirage.
KEY DUELS
- KaiR0N- vs ZywOo
KaiR0N- is Nemiga’s strongest player statistically over the past three months, but ZywOo leads him in rating, kills per round, survival, KAST, Round Swing and ADR. Nemiga need KaiR0N- to keep the individual gap manageable. - syph0 vs flameZ
syph0 has been Nemiga’s highest-rated player at the event and played a major role in their playoff run. flameZ gives Vitality another consistent source of opening and multi-kill impact behind ZywOo. - khaN vs ropz
khaN has maintained a positive event rating during Nemiga’s run, while ropz offers Vitality significantly more experience in late-round situations. This matchup could become particularly important on closer maps such as Cache.
PREDICTION
Nemiga have already shown that their run is not based on one isolated upset. Three consecutive 2:0 victories, including the quarterfinal against FUT, give them real momentum, and their map pool provides a clear opportunity to challenge Vitality on Anubis or Nuke.
Vitality still have the stronger overall position. Their map pool is superior on Dust2, Cache and Mirage, while the individual difference is difficult to ignore. ZywOo is averaging a 1.39 rating at the event, and Vitality have three additional players above 1.10.
The absence of apEX and the use of jL as a stand-in gives Nemiga a better chance than the rankings alone suggest, but Vitality should still have enough firepower and map depth to survive a three-map series.
Projected result: Vitality 2–1 Nemiga
