Vitality and PARIVISION will meet in the quarter-final of ESL Pro League Season 24 on October 9 at 13:00 CET. The teams will play a Bo3 in the single-elimination playoffs: the winner will advance to the semi-finals, while the losing team will leave the tournament.
Vitality enter the match as the #2 team in both HLTV and VRS after completing the Swiss Stage with a perfect 3:0 record. PARIVISION reached the playoffs with a 3:2 record and currently sit #20 in HLTV and #11 in VRS, making Vitality the clear favorite based on ranking, recent form and the map pool.
ESL PRO LEAGUE SEASON 24 — PLAYOFF CONTEXT
ESL Pro League Season 24 takes place in Katowice with 16 teams and a total prize pool of $1,000,000. After the Swiss Stage, the tournament moves into a single-elimination playoff bracket.
Vitality reached the quarter-finals without losing a series. They defeated 1win 2:0 in the opening round before beating NAVI and Falcons 2:1.
PARIVISION had a much more difficult route. The team started with a victory over Legacy, then lost to Spirit and FURIA to fall to 1:2. Two consecutive elimination wins against G2 and NAVI allowed PARIVISION to complete the Swiss Stage at 3:2 and reach the playoffs.
For both teams, there is no margin for error now: one defeat ends the tournament run.
HEAD-TO-HEAD — VITALITY HAVE WON BOTH SERIES
Vitality and PARIVISION have met twice in 2026, and Vitality won both series without dropping a map.
At PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, Vitality won 3:0. The maps ended 13:10 on Overpass, 13:4 on Dust2 and 16:13 on Inferno.
The teams met again at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, where Vitality won 2:0 after taking Mirage 13:9 and Inferno 16:12.
That gives Vitality a 5:0 map advantage in the presented head-to-head record. However, the current PARIVISION roster differs from the lineup used in those earlier meetings, so the sample should not be treated as a direct comparison of the current versions of both teams.
CURRENT FORM
- Vitality — five consecutive series wins
Vitality enter the quarter-final on a five-match winning streak. Their recent run includes victories over FURIA and Aurora at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, followed by three straight wins during the ESL Pro League Swiss Stage.
Recent results:
- Vitality 2:1 Falcons
- Vitality 2:1 NAVI
- Vitality 2:0 1win
- Vitality 3:1 Aurora
- Vitality 2:0 FURIA
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut remains the main individual force. Over the last three months, he has a 1.34 rating, 0.82 kills per round, 0.58 deaths per round, 76.5% KAST, a 1.29 multi-kill rating, +3.67% round swing and 85.8 ADR.
Vitality have not been flawless in Katowice, with both NAVI and Falcons taking a map from them, but the team responded in both series and maintained a perfect match record.

- PARIVISION — two elimination wins in a row
PARIVISION arrive in the playoffs after surviving two consecutive elimination matches.
Recent results:
- PARIVISION 2:1 NAVI
- PARIVISION 2:1 G2
- PARIVISION 1:2 FURIA
- PARIVISION 1:2 Spirit
- PARIVISION 2:1 Legacy
Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev has a 1.04 rating over the last three months, with 0.66 kills per round, 0.68 deaths per round, 75.3% KAST, a 1.02 multi-kill rating, -0.07% round swing and 76.1 ADR.
Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov also enters the quarter-final after a standout performance against NAVI. He finished that series with 63 kills, 98.8 ADR and a 1.41 Rating 3.0.
MAP POOL & VETO
Statistics over the last three months (Vitality | PARIVISION):
- Cache: 83% | 25%
- Dust2: 83% | 33%
- Mirage: 67% | 50%
- Inferno: 50% | 33%
- Nuke: 50% | —
- Ancient: — | 78%
- Anubis: 44% | 33%
Expected veto:
- Vitality are likely to remove Ancient. They have not played the map with the current core in the presented three-month sample, while PARIVISION hold a 78% win rate across nine maps. Vitality also removed Ancient first against both NAVI and Falcons during the Swiss Stage.
- PARIVISION are likely to remove Nuke. The team has consistently used Nuke as the first ban at ESL Pro League Season 24, including the recent matches against NAVI and Spirit.
Likely maps:
- Dust2 looks like the clearest pick for Vitality. They have an 83% win rate across 12 maps compared to only 33% for PARIVISION. Vitality also picked Dust2 against Falcons and won it 13:4.
- PARIVISION may turn to Inferno after using it as their pick against NAVI. Their 33% win rate is not particularly strong, but Ancient is likely to disappear immediately, leaving fewer comfortable options.
- Mirage is a strong candidate for the decider. Vitality have 67% across nine maps, while PARIVISION sit at 50% across four. Mirage was also left over in the recent Vitality–Falcons and PARIVISION–NAVI vetoes.
The veto creates a major problem for PARIVISION. Ancient is clearly their strongest statistical map, but it is also the most obvious ban for Vitality. At the same time, Vitality have significant advantages on Cache and Dust2.
KEY DUELS
- ZywOo vs Jame — the main AWP matchup. ZywOo has a clear advantage in individual statistics, while Jame remains crucial to the structure and late-round decision-making for PARIVISION.
- ropz vs FL1T — a rifle duel between two players who can decide mid-round situations. FL1T remains one of the main sources of consistent damage for PARIVISION, while ropz adds another reliable late-round presence for Vitality.
- flameZ vs xiELO — an aggressive matchup that could have a major influence on early-round space. xiELO enters the playoffs after a 1.41 rating against NAVI, while flameZ remains one of the main entry and space-creating pieces for Vitality.
PREDICTION
PARIVISION have already shown that they can survive difficult Bo3s under pressure. Consecutive victories over G2 and NAVI demonstrate that the team can recover during a series, and the recent form of xiELO gives them another important source of individual impact.
The main problem is the veto. Ancient is by far the strongest map for PARIVISION in the presented statistics, but Vitality have every reason to remove it immediately. Once Ancient disappears, Vitality have a clear statistical advantage on Cache, Dust2, Mirage and Inferno.
Vitality also enter the playoffs on a five-match winning streak and have already beaten stronger opposition throughout the event. ZywOo holds a significant individual advantage over the main players of PARIVISION, while the deeper map pool gives Vitality more ways to control the Bo3.
PARIVISION have enough form to take one map if they get a comfortable pick and continue the level shown against NAVI, but Vitality should have the advantage over a full series.
Projected result: Vitality 2–1 PARIVISION
