Rebels have completed their CS2 rebuild with the signings of Rafael “arrozdoce” Wing, António “aragornN” Barbosa, and José “Shr” Gil. The changes reshape the Portuguese roster after the departures of Filipe “NOPEEj” Dias and Diogo “snapy” Rodrigues, while Tiago “TMKj” Martins was moved to the bench.
The new lineup brings together players with shared history across the Portuguese Counter-Strike scene. As a result, Rebels will enter future competitions with a roster whose members have already played alongside each other at different points in their careers.
Rebels Back Portuguese Talent
The rebuild is a major step for Rebels in the CS2 scene. The organisation have placed their faith in Portuguese talent, while the current team chemistry will form an important foundation for future competitions.
The new five features players with experience from several notable Portuguese and international projects. Therefore, Rebels will look to turn that familiarity into better results in the upcoming events.
AragornN Returns to Portugal
AragornN returns to a Portuguese roster after his spell with BC.Game. He joined the international team in January of this year, following BC.Game’s acquisition of the former SAW core.
However, his time with BC.Game was short-lived. The team struggled to secure meaningful results, while aragornN posted a 0.87 average rating during his stint with the roster.
Arrozdoce and Shr Join the Project
Arrozdoce also returns to the Portuguese scene after playing for international teams. He first represented Ninjas in Pyjamas before moving to OG.
The 24-year-old had previously impressed with SAW, recording a 1.14 rating in 2024. However, his rating dropped to 1.01 and 1.02 during his two years with international squads.
Meanwhile, Shr joins Rebels after nearly a full year without a official matches. Imperial benched him in August 2025, after he had represented the team for barely a month.
