The new update of Valve’s global ranking from September 28 highlighted BC.Game’s difficult position. s1mple’s team ended up only in 57th place, while some of the Ukrainian’s former teammates are already above him in the team hierarchy.
BC.Game dropped to 57th place
In the fresh Valve ranking, BC.Game have 1197 points and occupy 57th place. Directly above them are Color with 1204 points and FOKUS with 1205, while slightly further ahead are Lynn Vision, Nuclear TigeRES, Wildcard, and SAW.
The gap to SAW looks especially telling, as they are already in 51st place with 1239 points. For a roster with s1mple, electroNic, Magisk, Senzu, and mzinho, such a position remains far from the level that could have been expected from a team with such experienced players.
s1mple’s individual form looks much better
At the same time, s1mple himself has shown a 1.25 rating over the last three months. His Firepower and Sniping numbers remain high — 86 and 87 out of 100 respectively, while his Opening stands at 72.
In other words, BC.Game’s problem definitely cannot be reduced only to the individual form of the Ukrainian sniper. s1mple is still capable of producing strong stretches, but the team lacks stable results that would allow them to quickly rise in VRS.
More than a year already in BC.Game
s1mple joined BC.Game in July 2025 and, at the time of this update, has already spent more than 400 days on the roster. Before that, the Ukrainian played for NAVI and FaZe for a short period, while a significant part of his career is traditionally associated specifically with Natus Vincere.
During this time, BC.Game have still not managed to establish themselves among the stable participants of the biggest tournaments. The team regularly plays qualifiers, but it is the lack of big results that continues to hold back their rise in the ranking.
Former teammates are already ahead
The situation looks even more contrasting because some of s1mple’s former teammates have already ended up above him in Valve’s system. For a player who spent most of his career in teams with the highest tournament ambitions, the current roster’s 57th place looks unusual.
However, this is specifically a team ranking, so s1mple’s personal level does not directly determine BC.Game’s position. The decisive factors remain the results of the entire roster, the number of ranked tournaments played, and the VRS points earned there.
BC.Game need to convert the roster into results
On paper, the current roster has enough experience: alongside s1mple are electroNic and Magisk, while the younger part of the lineup is represented by Senzu and mzinho. However, the team has not yet managed to turn these resources into a stable result.
Now BC.Game’s main task is not simply to perform well in individual matches, but to regularly get through qualifiers and collect points at ranked tournaments. Otherwise, even s1mple’s strong individual form will not help the team quickly climb out of the lower half of the global ranking.
