Stake Pulse retains its 16-team format
The tournament series will continue using the same format introduced in 2026. Each edition will feature 16 participating teams, with two places awarded through open qualifiers and the remaining 14 available through open registration.
The existing tournament format consists of four GSL groups played as Bo3 series, followed by an eight-team single-elimination playoff bracket.
Black Molly Entertainment will continue producing all six tournaments at its Stockholm studio. Participating teams will also receive all-inclusive packages covering accommodation, catering, local transportation and private practice rooms.
The organizers confirmed that further details regarding open registration will be announced closer to each event.
Stake Pulse expands after its 2026 debut
Stake Pulse launched in 2026 with three tier-two tournaments held between August and October. The series provided teams with additional opportunities to compete for prize money and improve their positions in the Valve Regional Standings.
The first two editions featured $60,000 prize pools, while Stake Pulse Beat III increased the amount to $80,000.
Ninjas in Pyjamas won the third edition in October after defeating MIBR 2:1 in the Grand Final. The event featured several teams competing for ranking points ahead of the PGL Singapore Major 2026 invitation deadline.
With six tournaments scheduled for 2027, the circuit will offer more opportunities for tier-two teams to compete in LAN events throughout the season.
