Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov finally secured the first MVP medal of his career after leading NAVI to the IEM Atlanta 2026 championship title with a series of elite performances throughout the tournament. The Ukrainian AWPer became one of the main reasons behind NAVI’s dominant playoff run and their convincing 3-0 victory over GamerLegion in the grand final. After years of being considered one of the most talented young snipers in Counter-Strike, w0nderful has now added an MVP award to his growing trophy collection.
w0nderful stepped up against every major opponent

The NAVI sniper finished the tournament with a 1.31 Rating 3.0 across 16 maps and consistently delivered in the biggest matches of the event.
His most important performance came in the semi-final against Vitality — widely considered the best team in the world. NAVI defeated Vitality 2-1, and w0nderful completely took over the series with massive 1.95 and 1.87 ratings on the two maps NAVI won.
The grand final against GamerLegion became another showcase for the Ukrainian star. w0nderful finished the series with a 1.44 rating while helping NAVI secure one of the most one-sided grand final victories of the year.
Even in NAVI’s earlier group-stage loss against Legacy, w0nderful remained the best player on the server with a 1.41 rating, further proving how consistent his level was throughout the entire event.
Across the tournament, he finished with:
- 1.31 Rating 3.0
- +107 K-D differential
- 289 total kills
- 105 AWP kills
- 47 opening kills
- +3.04% round swing impact
The MVP award also marked another major milestone for the Ukrainian player, who already had multiple elite trophies on his resume — including a Major title — but had never previously captured an individual MVP medal.
NAVI finally return to the top

The victory in Atlanta became NAVI’s first IEM trophy since Rio 2024 and one of the organization’s most important results in recent seasons.
After several inconsistent tournaments and difficult playoff exits earlier in the year, Atlanta suddenly felt like a complete reset for the roster. NAVI looked far more aggressive, structured, and confident throughout the playoffs, while players like b1t and w0nderful reached superstar form at exactly the right moment.
The tournament also became an important statement ahead of Cologne and the Major season, especially because NAVI eliminated Vitality on their way to the title.
For many fans, Atlanta felt like the moment where NAVI finally re-entered the conversation among the absolute best teams in the world again.
