On September 8, Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia officially moved to Team Spirit’s inactive roster. In his personal post, the player revealed that he asked the organization for a break due to personal reasons and will temporarily step away from competition.

How the team got to this point

After the Major, zont1x approached the management with a request for a break. Since the organization needed time to find a replacement, he continued to play until the end of the summer. Eventually, Spirit signed Andrey “tN1r” Tatarinovich, who previously played for Heroic.

Zont1x’s statement about the future

In his message to fans, zont1x clarified that the decision to step back was made jointly with the organization after the Major. He emphasized that the break is temporary and that he already has a timeline in mind.

After the major I asked the management for a break from competing due to several personal reasons. Since the organization needed time to arrange a transfer for a replacement we agreed that i will have to play for some time after summer players break. I am expected to be back competing this winter.

Fans are waiting for his winter return

Fans are already eagerly awaiting zont1x’s comeback this winter and are speculating whether he will return to Spirit or join another club. According to insider OverDrive, who also works as a scout for Team Spirit, the player has not been placed on transfer and is not planning to look for a new team in the near future. If Spirit needs his help, he will be able to return to the lineup.

What’s next for Spirit and zont1x

For Spirit, a new chapter begins with tN1r, while for zont1x it’s a pause that could end with a winter return to the team — or mark the beginning of a new career elsewhere. Readers can also check our detailed report on his departure from the active roster here.
