Jesper “JW” Wecksell publicly appealed to BLAST, urging them to grant a WildCard to his team EYEBALLERS, who barely missed the list of participants. The team fell short by only 0.3 VRS points, despite a rapid rating rise: from #176 to #33 in just half a year.
A dream that deserves to be on the BLAST stage
The legendary AWPer did not hide his emotions:
I dreamed of finally returning to BLAST. Give us a chance — and I will bring the wonder-kid back to the server.
Head coach Faruk “pita” Pita confirmed that missing the invite due to such a tiny margin is a real blow after six months of work.
Coach described my feelings pretty good there. Damn i was dreaming about finally getting the chance to play a BLAST tournament.. 😢
Wildcard dream still alive maybe? Give us the opportunity @BLASTPremier and i bring back the wonderchild 🙏🏻#BlastBallers https://t.co/m1y2FPsFDd— Jesper Wecksell (@JW1) December 1, 2025
EYEBALLERS proved they deserve attention
The team has significantly accelerated the revival of Swedish CS:
- champions of CCT Season 3 Europe Series 11
- growth of every player and stable form
- support of fans and legendary figures of the scene
JW maintains top-tier stats on the tier-2 scene: 1.04 rating over 124 maps, clutch experience, precise AWPing, and incredible composure. The team is especially upset by a –21.11 VRS penalty received for a match vs an opponent who was later banned for cheating.
The community wants the legends back
Fans strongly support JW’s return to the big stage:
@CS2Prices:
Once a legend — always a legend
@RupertHoop:
Someone will definitely withdraw from the invite list. Swedish CS is back — good luck EYEBALLERS!
And BLAST knows well that the story of legends works better than any numbers.

Will JW return to the main stage?
EYEBALLERS believe that the opportunity is still alive: they expect possible changes in the participants list due to roster moves or scheduling conflicts.
The team continues competing and gaining rating points — so that BLAST has no reason to say “no.” JW is once again in the spotlight. Now it’s up to the organizers — and the whole scene wants to hear the answer.
