Polish organization 9INE have officially announced that Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz has been moved to the inactive roster, ending his short but eventful stint with the team. The decision comes as part of a broader rebuild following a disappointing start to 2026.

A decision that was coming

In their official statement, the club thanked the player for his contribution:

As of today, Bartosz ‘bnox’ Niebisz has been moved to the inactive roster. We would like to thank Bartosz for his efforts during his journey with us.

bnox joined 9INE in December 2025, but leaves the active lineup after just six months. His benching marks the second roster move in a short span — earlier in May, the organization also benched Jan “cej0t” Dyl.

VRS drop and lack of results

The year began with some promise, as the team started at No. 34 in the Valve Regional Standings, but a string of underwhelming performances quickly changed the picture. In the latest May update, 9INE dropped to No. 62. Their only notable results were semi-final finishes at LORGAR Rankings S1 and IstanbuLAN 2026, while most other tournaments ended in early exits. This ultimately pushed the organization toward making decisive roster changes.

What’s next?

9INE have not yet announced replacements for bnox and cej0t, but they have already started testing options. The team recently played a Stake Ranked Closed Qualifier match with Adam “adamS” Marian. The current 9INE lineup is:

  • Rasmus “raalz” Steensborg
  • Tobias “kraghen” Kragh Jensen
  • Alan “flayy” Krupa

Danny “BERRY” Krüger (coach)Inactive:

  • Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz
  • Jan “cej0t” Dyl

Community reaction: confusion and frustration

The decision sparked mixed reactions across the community, with many fans questioning the move:

  • “what the hell are we cooking, hallo?”
  • “very sad”
  • “Total L #FreeFlavyy”

Others pointed out the team’s inconsistent results over the past months.

What does this mean for 9INE?

A double benching clearly signals that 9INE are not satisfied with their current level. The team is trying to reset and climb back into the top 30 of the VRS, but without confirmed signings, the rebuild still looks uncertain. The coming weeks will be crucial — they will show whether 9INE have a clear plan or are simply reacting to a results crisis.
